I canβt imagine that cilantro would taste good in baked beans. It also seemed like you added a lot of the cilantro compared to the amounts you used of the other ingredients. We use the same ingredients with the exception of the cilantro and BBQ sauce. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
You can't go wrong with Bush's baked beans, I cook them up in a skillet adding nothing and they are just like oven baked beans.

Ms Jan I made these baked beans last night and I have tried several different recipes. This by far was one of my favorites!! The only two things I did different was my green and red bell peppers and I added 2 teaspoons of hot sauce. But THESE was the BEST!! THANK YOU FOR SHARINGβ€οΈ
Yum, will definatly be making the baked beans. I don't like cilantro at all so might leave it out. Watching you cook is so relaxing. I don't like to measure either. Take care.

I buy the Bush's maple bacon flavored beans…purple label. I put a bit of Texas Pete hot sauce in mine and I cut up Jesse Jones (red) hot dogs in mine. No onion or green pepper or bbq sauce. I love colantro but maybe not in baked beans..

All but the cilantro. I wonβt knock it bc it may be delicious. I donβt see them paired. Sometimes cilantro tastes weird to me. I even substitute it in other dishes and use parsley.

I'd have to leave out the cilantro—–YUCK!π
I use to hate Cilantro — always tasted like soap. Unbeknownst to me, that is one of the tell tell signs of Gallbladder problems. Best to cleans and flush Gallbladder than to remove — learned too late. Now I love Cilantro, it no longer tastes like soap.
I use to live in NC and was introduced to a vinegar BBQ sauce … OMGsh, I am in love with it also coleslaw added in their BBQ Pork/Beef Sandwiches. I cannot find any over here in the SouthWest.
