    I will say it: CookingwithGloria really KNOWS how to make carnitas. I followed this recipe and it came out amazingly wonderful. Yes- no babysitting, no turning things for even cooking- just do it the way Gloria says. I did add my own herbs and some spices for the last hour only, but I followed Gloria's technical instructions and yes, Muy Bueno Amazing100%.

    I made these Saturday and they came out amazing! Everybody loved them! Thank you for this instructional video! The only drawback for me is cleaning up the lard after cooking. I saved most of the lard by filtering it into a container and putting it into the fridge. Any tips or tricks to pass on?

    I looked and didn’t see it in the comments, but what size Dutch oven do you use to make your awesome Carnitas? I have made them and I always need to make them in two pans. It have over flowed, but I’m grateful that I haven’t had any injuries! I love your Carnitas. I have made them quite often. Thank you for you and your knowledge!
