Hello & welcome back to views on the road! In today’s recipe, I’ll be showing you how to prep squash blossoms and how to …
Thank you for the recipe! Sometimes the outdoor market sells the flor de calabaza. I bought it a few weeks ago and stuffed them with queso. Delicious! If they have them again I'll give this a try!π
My tortilla press does the same thing. It works best to do it on one side, and then turn the masa the other side and press again. It usually evens out this way. Its easier to remember which side to turn it around if its square shaped parchment/plastic.
You make me so hungry. You are a good person
Just turn it around on the tortilla press should work
Delicious! Great idea
Turn your tortilla press or masa 180 degrees to flatten the thicker side.
Looks yummy! The only thing I would add is some fresh sweet corn. The squash and onions would complement the sweetness of the corn!

I hope you can help me? .I have tried several times to make tortillars. I use the maseca. even they taste good, they come out rather thick even though I use a tortilla press. Also the main concern is that they do not inflate????
I have not ever seen the flowers in the grocery stores I buy my groceries. I do remember my grama had a huge garden and she made tacos. They are delicious.

When I need a Mexican recipe. This is my go to channel. I saved this recipe for next year. We grow squash and zucchini in our gardens. Thanx for sharing (~);}!!!
These intrigue me but, I try to store my winter squash. Do people mainly use summer squash blooms? Any particular kind you all use? Are they mainly male blossoms that are picked? That way you let the fruit set on and get rid of the male blossoms after it has done it's job.
