I always break my pasta in half!!! You're definitely not alone in that one. 🙂
Wonderful recipe, huge thanks for sharing! So I don't offend my grandmother, Nonna, I'll be using spaghetti (and not breaking it) and no oil in the pasta water, Lol. It makes sense why you did what you did, but I'll stick with our family tradition. Thanks again!

Made this! Mozzarella makes the pasta slightly gooey, that was so good! Simple yet delicious.
Have to try this pasta recipe, looks delicious. I'm always looking decent recipes, my husband is English and he loves his meat and so many veggies for dinner, so boring. I've been trying different things he's coming around to. My first husband was so easy to cook for, this Brit, not so much. Thanks Beth, Diane
Half a pound of pasta would never feed my family of four, I use a pound.
About using hot water… I always heard that's a big no no because lead and other things can get leached from the pipes into the water when using hot tap water.
Could I roast broccoli with the tomatoes? As always, love you and your recipes, Beth!
Love watching your vids. Thanks for the tip about tearing mozzarella over it. So more-ish – this recipe serves 2 people 🙂
great recipe loved it
you can't put oil in your pasta water because your sauce won't adhere to the pasta
Beth! The reason you should always drink and cook with cold water is because warm tap water dissolves more metal, often copper. Espesally important for kids! I put a US link down below, its from Massachusetts but is accurate for all US states! PS I love the new video format https://www.mass.gov/service-details/copper-in-drinking-water
OMG….I'm starving!!!! I don't know how I found you but thank you Jesus for bringing your videos into my life!!
Omgoodness yuuum!!! I will definitely be making this 🙌🏽
My whole family loves this recipe!! It's become a big hit. So simple yet so delicious. The best vegetarian dish in my house, next to the equally delicious Cream of Celery soup that my oldest son has now learned to make on his own. Thank you so much! 🙂
Your recipes are terrific but you also have such a charming and fun personality. It's a pleasure watching.
Beth may I ask where in the world you are located? Im assuming US or Canada but id love to know where abouts ☺️
The tomatoes in Australia at the moment are delicious as we head in to our spring/summer seasons. Love em! 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍝
I love angel hair pasta and I love a nice vegetarian meal 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 thank you for the recipe!!
Beth, I love your pepper Mill… do you mind telling me where I can find it ?
I made this today beth it is so delicious..😋
European here 🙂 Made this again tonight (and it was amazing) but as I was reading the recipe in the description box I think the pints-to-grams math is a little off (tomatoes) 🙂 I just used what looked like the same amount as Beth used, which was around 700 grams of tomatoes but I think she used even more than me.
Awesome as usual ! Thanks, Beth.👍👏😀💕
Where is the chicken
Yummmm!! 😋😋😋 I know what we're having for dinner! 👍💖😊
Love your videos!
I've made this twice with the garden tomatoes my neighbor brought me and my friends LOVED it. It's such a quick and easy recipe!! Thank you, Beth!! 🙌❤️👌🏼
This is so helpful,I have 3 hungry boys that would inhale this😋thanks Beth👍🏽
By the way everyone this recipe really is that easy. I used lemon juice and a touch of water like Beth said in place of the wine.😎
I made this recipe for my wife and I for our anniversary, we both loved it. Thanks 😌👍☺️
You are so cool, down on earth, love your videos , so natural ..
I’ve never roasted tomatoes for a sauce! Looks soo good.
Thanks for the recipe. I have about 50 homegrown cherry tomatoes waiting to be eaten and I have no idea what to do with them except throw them in everything i cook 😆
Thank you for sharing, Beth. Your recipes are so reliable and your presentation is so approachable. I appreciate all of your hard work during these crazy and unsettling times…God bless you and your family.❤️
Looks amazzzzing! 🤩
OMG, that was delicious! Thank you. Do you have a good recipe for aubergine/eggplant? I grew my first one and want to do it justice 🙂
Hi Beth! I just subscribed from your channel after I made your flakey lemon blueberry scones. I love your videos. So far, I've made this using spaghetti and it was a hit👍 I made your foolproof madeleines as well. Can you make a video of the real Italian focaccia?
