Wonderful recipe, huge thanks for sharing! So I don't offend my grandmother, Nonna, I'll be using spaghetti (and not breaking it) and no oil in the pasta water, Lol. It makes sense why you did what you did, but I'll stick with our family tradition. Thanks again!

Have to try this pasta recipe, looks delicious. I'm always looking decent recipes, my husband is English and he loves his meat and so many veggies for dinner, so boring. I've been trying different things he's coming around to. My first husband was so easy to cook for, this Brit, not so much. Thanks Beth, Diane

About using hot water… I always heard that's a big no no because lead and other things can get leached from the pipes into the water when using hot tap water.

My whole family loves this recipe!! It's become a big hit. So simple yet so delicious. The best vegetarian dish in my house, next to the equally delicious Cream of Celery soup that my oldest son has now learned to make on his own. Thank you so much! 🙂

European here 🙂 Made this again tonight (and it was amazing) but as I was reading the recipe in the description box I think the pints-to-grams math is a little off (tomatoes) 🙂 I just used what looked like the same amount as Beth used, which was around 700 grams of tomatoes but I think she used even more than me.

Thanks for the recipe. I have about 50 homegrown cherry tomatoes waiting to be eaten and I have no idea what to do with them except throw them in everything i cook 😆

Hi Beth! I just subscribed from your channel after I made your flakey lemon blueberry scones. I love your videos. So far, I've made this using spaghetti and it was a hit👍 I made your foolproof madeleines as well. Can you make a video of the real Italian focaccia?
