I found the Avocado last month and picked up one bag. Been shopping Aldi for years and you never know what they'll have. Wish some items weren't seasonal. Thanks for the review…guacamole for moi!

Doug, you're pretty late on the frozen avocados lol! I've never liked them, don't eat guacamole…. but they are great in making your green smoothies gel together and smooth for drinking… just 2 or 3 chunks per smoothie. I first saw the frozen bags and started ordering them from Amazon Fresh.

That is great news to know. I love avocado and can eat them just with salt and pepper or on toast or with a poached egg. But having a bag in the freezer for those times when you need or want one and don't have any in the house is fantastic to know. And I love your salad. I like a good blue cheese dressing, sometimes I add a touch of ranch with it. Great salad and avocado is the icing on the salad…. Claudia

I love Avacado You can put fresh ones in a paper bag to get ripe, then put them in the refrigerator. A great way to have them on hand for dips and salsa!. I love Blue Cheese dressing. You can squeeze lemon or lime juice on them to keep them from turning brown. I will check to see if I can find them at my regular grocery store. Does Walmart sell them? You can use them in smoothies too.

No Aldi's here, sadly. But now I have to experiment with freezing some avos! Thank you for the review, I'd never have thought of freezing chunks before. (I have frozen the puree and that works great.)
