👩🏻🍳 Here's the recipe on how to make it: https://jeanelleats.com/pinakbet/
🥰 Wanna see if Lisa liked it? https://youtube.com/shorts/uqNqemFkBu0?feature=share
The Okra looks very very hard.
as soon as i saw the bittermelon i had flashbacks 😭
Looks bad hope it tastes better
My mom would always salt the bitter melon first, sometimes even putting it in a salt bath. Then squeeze it dry then pat it with table napkins just so she can get rid of the bitter taste. She knows us kids don't like how bitter it is.
Its a common dish here in Baguio that i usually eat we use chicken instead of pork bcuz i don’t eat pork its a very tasty dish u can also put patani in it
Ugh, I see bittermelon. That is literally something I cannot eat, its too bitter. If I can't taste it then we're golden.
Amazing veggie combo. I would not chop up cowpeas though. I love an entire cowpea.
That looks so delicious, and I LOVE AUBERGINES AND OKRA ❤❤❤❤
@jeanelleats I love all your videos, so a soothing voice. Your meals always looks tasty to me
Lol i woulds use everything but the bitter melon😅
This remind me of Bengali mix veg dishes Sukto or panchmisali torkari 🤓
Never in my life, I have seen a generous amount of okra in a Pinakbet until this video came. 😭
We would add ginata na lubi
I'm confused. why are all the comments here expecting this dish to be vegetarian/vegan friendly when she she never said it is. She clearly said vegetable dish, meaning, a dish that mostly compose or the main ingredients are vegetables.
just because its a vegetable dish does not mean it'svegan friendly.
and secondly, please have some respect of other people's culture. it really does not cost you anything yo be respectful and kind.
My dad's pinakbet doesn't use broth or water. Straight up dump everything including meat of choice, add salt or patis. Let it simmer with the lid on and stir every once in a while until fully cooked.
Ahh. Miss my dad. ❤
Bakit nauna ang talong na madaling maluto
In India we have a dish similar to this called Sambar where we use many vegetables and lentils to make it you should try is once.
nice to see this esp after i just had it for lunch!
Abla bızde bunun adı turlu
Why you didn't chopped the okra???
Does it make difference in the taste??
plenty of South Indian dishes are purely vegetarian or vegan and are delicious 🌱😋
what's the deal with vegetarian dishes being considered unflavorful anyway? idk why there's this need to specify that a vegetarian dish "actually tastes good" unless youre eating boiled potatos with no salt, there are plenty of vegetarian dishes that taste grsat.
Finally a video whitout ube
Visit india habibi
I love veggies
You can actually add silling haba in that. I like it with a little spice and I knowing Lisa, I bet she'll like it when a little spicy too! 😊
What I can’t eat shrimp, what would you use instead?
If you answer and/or make a video for this question, can you link it to me please?❤
Yummy
"vegetable dish that tastes good"
.
Every indian offended
Definitely no vinegar in pinakbet
Honestly most vegetable dishes taste good I’m not a fan of sauces or seasonings lol
Ooh u made veggie penukbet. U used chicken broth instead of broth from the pork? I don’t eat pork so… have u ever heard beef being used?
I hated pinakbet growing up, still do lol
ate alam mo ba kung paano lutuin ang utan? law-uy?
