My husband writes. He’s been published. He has a group of male peers, some published authors, that read and critique each other’s work. He values them. He says everyone else’s opinion can suck it 😂

Girrrrl I'm over in Michigan and that weather was DUMB. (our pipes froze for like 3+ days)

I also echo the fact that I LOVE that it seems like Nahla has no bias against the idea of wearing or being "plus size" at some point at her age – not that she should but because so many people project that onto their kids from the time they're young and make them literally fear getting "fat"… at that age even though I was super active and healthy, my genetics made it so I'd never be a smaller gal, and my own mother (who was also plus size) seemed to project her own body issues onto me, making me feel like I had to cover up and hide my body and only wear things that were "flattering" (or that she thought were, so basically whatever covered up any larger parts of me). I (now TRULY plus sized at age 30 – it's okay to call myself fat) look back at my teenage self like "how did I ever think that I WASN'T a little hottie mcbody" and "I was just a genuinely curvaceous girl comparing myself to my petite and disproportionately skinny classmates at my tiny private school and I should've been WERKIN what I had instead of hiding myself thinking my body was shameful"!

So it heals a part of my early 2000s teenage self to hear young people of this generation NOT acting like the thought of being "plus sized" is the most revolting thing they could be… IYKYK.

Sarah just remember when you publish your book there will be criticism but it will be fine. I’ve always told my kids everyone may not like you and that’s okay, just like they might not like someone. It’s hard because you can’t control the words they might say.

The jacket a size up I think is a keeper since you can cinch the waist with the belt and the white outfit you tried on is soooo cute definitely inspired me to try something similar… also I’m obsessed with the way your cookies came out they are so cute!

I love the excitement Nahla has when she completes an amazing Lego set like that!! It reminds me of the older vlogs when Josh would buy them Lego sets, and help them put it together❤️ I'd also like to add that your Butterscotch cookies were a hit at my family Christmas party as always❤️💚❤️💚
