Your video was suggested to me and I agree with you … I don't use social media much because there are so many people that are nuts. I'm not vegan, but I love watching vegans cook … it's interesting to see how creative people can be. Your tofu scramble looks just like eggs … it's very interesting to me. Will check out your other videos.

The "be kind" generation is some of the most hateful people I've ever witnessed. I cannot believe that they attack YOUR content. I've been following you for over 7 years at this point and you have always came across as sweet. You're the main reason I had to visit Vietnam after having so many wonderful dishes made by using your recipes. You contribute more positive things than bad so do not allow these people to drag you down ever. Hopefully they grow out of the bullying and learn actual kindness instead.

It really made me quite emotional to hear how those awful comments got to you like that because I know I would feel the same way in your position. Putting yourself (and your family) on a social media platform really takes a lot of courage and thick skin to withstand the unfair judgement flung your way and it's really inspiring to know you consistently set and reevaluate your boundaries to suit your needs. I'm happy to hear you've put the negativity behind you and are moving forward with your content in a way that makes you feel good about your audience, your work and yourself. You are by far, my absolute favourite vegan content creator and have been for years and I would hate to know some brainless commenters pushed you away from continuing to create the fantastic content you consistently put out. Also, for what it's worth, I really do appreciate hearing about your journey with Eddie becoming vegan and raising a vegan child as it helps me gain some perspective on my own life with a non vegan partner. You are never obligated to share these things, but I hope you know it is helpful and appreciated nonetheless. ❤

I am 21 and could not relate more. Social media in general skews our view of what interactions should be. I have been off tiktok for 3 years now and while I still get jabbed at by friends for not using the app, it makes me feel much better to not be on it. I respect you sharing this sentiment and support you in all your endeavors!

I rarely comment on videos but you come across as such a lovely, well-rounded and critical (in a good way) person. Really appreciate you sharing your perspective on these topics as it is so important to hear, I just wish more people thought about things, people and whether they have any right to make such harsh judgments on other people's lives! Also, your food looks delicious, and just my kind of effort level haha <3 and yeah fuck tiktok

Oh Lisa God love you to the moon and back. What you choose to do for you and hour fami,y is total,y your business

I love this video with your honest voice over, and to be honest I don't do lots of social media I am very conscious of whom I follow. You Eddie and Bean are who you are and that is no body's business but yours and your closest family and friends. Love your honesty. Agreed with what you shared. Love your recipes. I am a British/Caribbean descendent living in the UK. Yes some of my closest family don't understand my food choices and I am up against it at family dos.. I went whole food plant based for my health .. About 4 years ago and since then I have been looking into the Vegan ethos and totally agree with these principals for the planet I wish more people would have and show compassion and stop this specisism that we execute.

I look forward to your videos and your chatty self. Lots of love to you and your family Lisa xx

I want to try the vegan Bahn Mi with the pate. I used to have a Vietnamese place nearby, but moved and now all I have is Thai, but they do have a Pho bowl you can get. I tried Bahn Xeo once and it was amazing. I had them cook it special order with tofu. I wish they would have also done some more mushrooms or something in it as well as it was a bit tofu heavy.
