I'm in my mid-twenties, and my dreams are basically that of a homestead wife living her best life raising her family and dogs and chickens with the best quality of life. I love that you inspire me to garden, to cook food from scratch, to spend time with my family because it gives me purpose. You made me appreciate what it means to go grocery shopping with my mom and I learned to cherish those moments before they disappear. I'm so happy I found your channel 3 years ago when I was watching you make lasagna noodles from scratch. I've been watching your videos ever since and I iust wanted to let you know how much of an inspiration you are Becky! ☺️

This one is no longer working. MI Gardener | Use code ACRE for 10% OFF. Thought I would let you know. I love watching your channel and never miss even one. I've decided to start my own garden this year and it has been rough already.

Hey, Becky! I love your videos but betterhelp is…not a great service to use. They sell your data that should be protected by HIPAA (look up the FTC settlement they had to come to after violating HIPAA so extensively). Additionally a lot of therapists and such that they say are licensed do not seem to have the qualifications needed to actually provide meaningful support; I've had several friends have horrific experiences with their "counselors" and as much as I would love for therapy to be accessible to everyone, it's just not worth it with BH.

I'm glad that your experience has been positive, but…generally speaking, please do not use BH.

If it's one thing I have learned this past year as a newish gardner is to use landscape fabric in my raised beds that go unused over the winter. If I had done that this past winter, it would have saved me hours of weeding when getting our beds ready for the spring garden. Next year I will definitely make an effort to put my beds to sleep and use landscape fabric.

Garden Answer was mentioning that Snap Dragons are poisoning. The whole plant. Not sure if you have cats or dogs that get in your plants. You may look it up yourself. It’s just what I heard her say.

Becky, can you please tell us the vacuum sealer you purchased? I’m in need of one and I know you (or Josh) already did the research. Thanks so much Becky!

Your tomatoes just need some fertilizer Becky , give them a mild dose of fish emulsion ,some miracle grow liquid, or what ever you have on hand , no worries , they will perk up in no time.

Hey Becky. Did you know, that you can cook celery root slices like schnitzel/ breaded cutlet? It's delicious. Aside from that it's usually used with the other typical veggies in a broth, at least in Germany 😊Hearty, more earthy flavor then the celery stalks. Great taste.
Thanks for taking us with you ❤

You have SO much energy! I know I’m in my 70’s but what I’d give to be your age again, knowing what I know now! I’d give anything to have a helper with your energy and knowledge to help me! It makes me sad to know I can’t do what I used to be able to, but didn’t know to do it…..I’d have more veggies and herbs going…..Keep going! You’re such an inspiration!!!! ❤❤❤

In Poland (and I’m sure other countries too) celeriac, parsnips and carrots are base for every stock and soup (usually we just toss the celeriac and parsnips or make a vegetable salad with them)

Hi Becky, just so you know. Just ordered 3 sets of strawberries from MI Gardener and tried to use your ACRE code for 10% off. Code would not be accepted at clout, so I called them. Man said they quit using that code and no longer honor it. Booooo!
Figured you were not aware of this, so advising you. I hope my strawberries do well too. Hugs to you sweet lady.

We enjoy watching your videos at your house. We like watching you plant veggies in your garden and turn them into food to feed your family. I was surprised to see your sponsor today. Does this mean your content is going to change? I always assumed your goal was to share your ideas on how to grow a healthy garden and tasty food to feed your family and content based on homesteading? Taking on a sponsor like Better Help is kind of a strange way to go. I know you have to make money but this new sponsor makes me feel like your heading towards just doing this to make big bucks? Of course you deserve to make money from doing this everyday, just thought you would use sponsors to help us garden or cook. I'm glad your taking care of your mental health, that is very important, I was just surprised you went that route. Kind of worried that your content and goals are going to change. A bit bummed out to be honest. 🌼

Becky and others–please be careful about BetterHelp. I've heard from those who have used it that the therapists are often not great: one woman learned her therapist's entire family was in the room listening to her therapy session, for just one awful example. Another was a gay man who requested am LGBT-friendly counselor who got a "religious" one who shamed him–during therapy. None of the folks who were hurt were able to get their money refunded.

There are many horror stories around BH. Please do your due diligence, your own research, before paying for this service.

I know some folks will say it helped them. Good for you. I just know it has also harmed people, and when you aren't in the therapist's physical office, you have even less protection.

This info should be used as a springboard for those curious or considering–please don't use my comment here to start a fight on Becky's channel. You do you. I just want people to be safe. ❤

You should look into getting a flat wagon. They are metal and have a mesh on the bottom. Some have fold down sides. The plant flats fit great on them an you can load several on the wagon.
