I love Korean food but this is hands-down one of my faves! And it's so easy to make! Hope you enjoy it too!
Oh Flo, you are amazing and Dude, right when you come on to do the TASTE, I canβt help but smile. Thank you for sharing the knowledge you have with us, changing my world one recipe at a time..
Nice market. Great video
I absolutely love how you edited the video Dude!! I donβt think Iβll be able to make this as I donβt live anywhere near an Asian or Korean market, but I just enjoy watching you guys cook and talk!
Making this tonight and cant wait to try it! Took awhile to find some short ribs. Tried a korean and asian market, and a local butcher with no luck. We ended up getting some at costco and asked the butcher to cut them thinner for us!
I didn't know the peeling ginger trick, looking forward to trying that!
Thought you were going to make a joke and say that was kim's convenience (I love that show). I love Korean food. I watch Maangchi cook, maybe you can turn some of her dishes into Instant Pot (or Ninja Foodi) recipes
Hi Guys, thank's for another "lip smacking" video, they look amazing. I would love to see a video of one of my all time favs, and that's Beef with Black Bean Sauce, I can't find a really good recipe anywhere. Take Care.
That was funny, opening with Flo looking into the fridge. Change is good.
Btw, I have seen Korean recipes where they soak and rinse the ribs to get rid of the blood and bone fragments created from the saw blade when being cut.
OMG welcome back missed yall video's
I was just going to call them flanken cut ribs when you said it! ( that what they call the ones I buy) πβ€οΈ
The reason for the Asian pear is the enzyme in it called bromelain. You can use pineapple or kiwi as a replacement but you have to be careful. Especially with pineapple. The bromelain is in a MUCH higher concentration than the Asian pear so your max marinating time with pineapple is about 30 minutes. The enzyme will break down the protein to the point of being mushy if you let it marinate for any longer.
I got smart. I ate while watching you cook so by the time for The Taste I wasnβt starving. Whew!!! Because that looks so yummy!
Those ribs look great and I may have eaten some while in Thailand for two years since they had some nice food and I ate plenty of beef dishes there, in Japan, and the Philippines. Dude is loving your food so much and your children must love it also.
Yum! I have to say, this is one of the best videos you've done in a long while, if not ever. The editing, timing .. something about it just worked. I laughed at the very first scene and smiled/drooled throughout the rest. Of course the food looks delicious as always. One weird thing is that, in the very end, the little window showing "flo lum instant recipes" is plastered right over Flo's face. Not sure if it's just how it looks on my computer but that's what happened. Keep up the great work and thanks for another great one!
Looks good! I am going to give this recipe a try!
Oh… serious yum action! I love Korean short ribs. Those are serious eats!
Hey Flo, have you ever tried the short ribs at Costco? I've seen them there (I think they were boneless) but haven't tried them yet.
Omg looks so yummy!!!!! So simple and delicious, I want to give this one a try very soon!!β¨
Please put this in your next cook book!

Yummy!!! I use a spoon to peel my ginger. It looks so good! It looked like the meat still had a little pull to it, not mushy.
