Liked your ven stew preparation and presentation. We have been canning venison for years, love it. I just loved Grace getting involved making the bisquits . Homesteading is a family affair and just loved seeing her being involved. I'll bet dad liked Graces bisquits too.

Hi Sarah… I love what you both do and share with us, thank you xx Question: Going through so many of your wonderful videos I see you have both an INSTANT POT and an ELECTRIC PRESSURE COOKER… I've googled them both but would love your first hand opinion as to what you find the difference is, and also which you prefer and would recommend, and why? I have a 30 yr old pressure stove top pressure cooker that I am now too scared to use lol!!!! I also have a very old Slow Cooker that only gets used at Christmas for mulled wine!! Thanks Sarah, have a happy day xx

I recently pulled the ingredients for this and have them on my counter ready to make this week! Including canned venison we have. So many times people don’t go to the trouble of using our creativity to cook. Sounds pretty plain but society lives under the rule of the quicker the better.

My fiancé, Kevin, bought me an instant pot for Christmas! So thanks for showing how to use it! I'd like to see you show more recipes in it! Love your channel! Both you and Kevin are wonderful teachers!

I made venison stew on Saturday. I totally screwed up and forgot to ground the peppercorns so it too hot. 🤦🏽‍♀️. Thinking of making more and adding some of the hot batch to it to bring the heat down. You think it will work??? 😏

I was happy to send you the bay leaves, I should of sent more and still will because we have 4 laurel trees on our property. I canned turkey since it is so inexpensive right now, I also canned up a bunch of chicken drumsticks in rich chicken bone broth with herbs and onions. I love stew, it is something we enjoy during the winter months, I am hoping to get some venison from my friends that went hunting earlier this fall.

I was really enjoying this until you said you were using jarred garlic because you didn’t want to peel garlic! Put a clove on a bread board, lay a wide knife on it and smack it with your fist. The skin literally falls away from the clove so a few chops and your fresh garlic is ready for the stew! That jarred junk is so cheap it’s probably straight from China!

I recently worked for a Native American Tribe, they make dandelion dill biscuits…. sooooo good can't wait for spring to go collecting dandelions again… to make them you use only the flower petals and dill to your recipe…. so good with some butter and honey 🙂
