7:40 I would love to learn how to make stir-fried rice cakes! Whenever I try to make it at home, it sticks terribly to the wok. I use the same amount of oil as when Iโm stir-frying noodles or fried rice. Maybe I just need to use more oil?

For people looking for glutenous rice as its not always specified look for ketan. it's deep white grain raher then semi transparent.
Also i wonder what happens if you slice this real thin and deepfry it.

It's Wednesday and it's Mandy Time! Thank you for teaching us various ways of making Rice Cakes. You are Amazing! ๐
Rice cake r much pricier than rice itself, like $5/lb, so if u can make it easily with rice, it will b far cheaper, as rice is almost $1/lb on sale . About yr ago, rice was around 60 cents/lb on sale, so rice price has gone up like 50%. I actually use a diff method of making rice cake. I cook the rice first, with extra water, and take cooked rice and massage/smush into rice cake logs.
I have never had rice cake. I only watched your video because I like your channel. I have cooked other foods from your channel, I'm just not a fan of rice. I would try rice cake if someone else made it, I'm happy to try new foods so long as they don't contain shrimp, I'm deadly allergic to that tasty food. I might not mind it if I hated it…
Thank you for the video ๐๐ป
I love the texture of rice cakes, but it looks like a lot of work to make from scratch! I'm lucky to live so close to Asian supermarkets.
Stealing Korean food culture again ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ this is not a Chinese food . Korean food call ๐ tuk.
