💚 Thanks for sharing, Jessica. Great ideas for eggs. I just watch 'Simole Living Alaska' pickle a bunch of their eggs and do the preserving egg yolks in salt, which I think I first learned about from you. That Lemin Pound Cake birthday cake looked so beautiful, and your Coconut/Almond flour bread looked yummy!💚
I couldn't understand why my chickens just weren't laying very much considering it's the time of year there is supposed to be an abundance. I let out my hens a bit late this morning and one took off around the house. I followed her and found a treasure! 31 eggs they've been hiding from me under the porch! And now this video is very useful!!
I didn't read through the comments to see if anyone else said this, but an easy way to chop boiled eggs is with a pastry cutter. It's what I use for making egg salad. 😊
You are so creative. ❤ We have a good bit of eggs on hand now too. Have you ever found that the taste of your chicken eggs have changed? Within the last week, our eggs have changed taste to me and it has kind of put me off from eating them. The family doesn’t mind it, but for some reason I can’t stomach it. Only thing i can think is that maybe it’s because we changed the type of chicken feed. Any thoughts or experiences with that? Thanks!
What is the time and temp for baking the 1st recipe you did? I’m going to try this as is in the video but also a savory version by omitting vanilla and adding ham and spinach before baking… we’ll see how it goes!
I never thought about God giving rest to the animal and plant world and not just for humans. Thanks for sharing. I love how you always glorify God in your videos!
🎉Happy birthday Levi!🎉I pray for God's richest blessings over your life. Enjoy this new year. Your cake looks so pretty. I love watching your preservation process.👍🏽👍🏽❤
my family loves eggs too! If you have an oven wire cooling rack you can push your hard boiled eggs through it with a bowl underneath to cut down on the time used to chop eggs!
Just wanted to say hi, ordered my for jars lids using your link. Really enjoy your videos, I listen while sewing on my 1874 singer treadle sewing machine. I've been going back and watching your old videos. We live off grid, no refrigerator, cold/ice box in winter and root cellar and a spring house rest of time. Looking forward to trying water glassing eggs. Thanks for great videos.
Hey Jessica, love this video, I love all your videos! I know this is off the subject of this particular one, but I am curious how you handle the grooming of your three large LDGs? Do you guys do it yourself at home or do they go to a groomer say once a year? Are their coats easy to maintain or do they matt? How often are they brushed/bathed? Another thing I'm curious about is your skin care routine, your skin looks so good and I know you would most likely use natural products! Thanks, much love!
One of my favorite ways to preserve eggs is quiche. They freeze beautifully and you can make them in any size pan, with or without a crust. Grease the pan well or line it with parchment paper and pop it out after it's frozen so all of your pans aren't stuck in the freezer. You can also fully cook, partially or no cooking and just freeze it. Put it back in the original pan to thaw and cook or heat accordingly. Thanks for sharing your ideas!

Ladies watch out! Levi is quite the charmer! Love your family and love you! You are truly a blessing to all of us! 😊
Hoping everyone has a blessed day❤Note to self:
Today I will magnify the power of God and not my problems or pain-
I will pray expecting God to be true to His Word and Promises,
expecting Him to take my burdens when I give them to Him –
expecting to receive His peace when I lay everything at His feet and trust Him.
I will praise Him this day for he is good and faithful.
and He abides with me-
and I am safe in the shelter of His arms-
Amen

Sodium silicate for water glassing doesn't leave that odd chalkiness .
When you steam eggs, peeling is easier.

Thank you for the great ideas. The zucchini carrot bread looks amazing. Would it be ok to omit the banana?
