make sure your crockpot is hot before putting in those hot vegetables or your pot will get fishers and may break over time, I always turn my crock on when I start the stuff on the stove.. I have in the past had the bottom pop out of the crockpot for doing that…. live and learn

Oh gosh that chicken look really good. All the meals looked good and I'm going to have to learn to use couscous better I know it's very simple and fast but I've never remembered to buy it and even meals that I thought would be really good with it I didn't have it so needs to go on the list.

I just discovered oven baked risotto. I may have learned about it from you (but I may not have and you don't know about it, and so I should tell you about it.) I made the Martha Stewart version which is very simple. So good! Cheap too. Just a small amount of butter and hard grating cheese.

Omg, you've given me so many great ideas!! And I just got a brand new crock pot to break in! Yay!! Btw, a tip for the tomato paste. Each can has 6 tbsp in it, so open both ends, push the paste out so it's in a roll form, cut into 6 equal slices, place slices on a plate and freeze. When frozen, store in a freezer bag and then you have it all measured out and ready to go. No waste.
