Hi Palin this is an excellent video/tutorial. Thanks for that. I’ve been cooking sticky rice for almost 30 years after I was introduced to it by my friends from Laos. It was a revelation for me. Rice was the first food I ever learned how to cook when I was a little boy. My mom never made rice for us. But I discovered that I could go to the store and buy A 2 pound box of rice for $.10. What a deal. Anyway, short story shorter, rice became my most favorite food in the world because It was hearty and I could make it myself. When I discovered the taste of real butter, the combination of the two was like heaven for me. Nowadays, now that I know about sticky rice, my most favorite combination is sticky rice with Lao sausage and jeow bong. I don’t know if you’ve covered these topics but can you do a video on homemade Lao sausage and jeow bong dipping sauce? Thanks for all that you do. It’s absolutely top shelf.
I love your channel. Your straw tools are so cool. How do you store your stuff. I watch Amy learns to cook and she must have three rooms of mixers, plates, and tools. How do you keep your son out of that stuff. I wish only the best for the new year
I've recently gotten into thai food and I love it, our apartment is small so we can't get another appliance, If I wanted to make coconut stick rice using the microwave.. should i cook the sticky rice first and make the coconut sauce seperate, or could i cook the sticky rice in coconut cream to sub for the water?
very nice Teach
