Great video. The only one I probably wouldn't do is regular oatmeal because it's so convenient already to do that in the microwave. I will be looking up how to do steel cut oats because I really like them, and they are a bit of a pain to cook on the stove.

I had a problem with brown rice. It was extremely messy when I used the Instapot. It was the sticky, filmy, residue gunk that spread inside and outside of the lid and where the pot fuse together. How do you cook brown rice without this happening?

First time user here, watched some of Lisa's other posts for tips & info. So why did my medium (smallish) potatoes take 24+ minutes to cook?? Yes, 1 c water. Yes "pressure cook" setting, and yes vent was closed. I hate cooking anyway, am afraid I won't try it a second time. Any ideas?

    Thank you..

Someone had mentioned when making that type of yogurt with the sweetened condensed milk and milk that the yogurt brand that you purchase is the same consistency of yogurt you're going to have. I think the custard kind is the best personally. I like Oui by Yoplait.

I just got into Instant Pot cooking about 4 months ago. It is an awesome cooker. Started with a 6qt and recently got a 10qt. Just ran across your channel. I love it. Subscribed and will be watching all your vids. BTW you are very pretty and easy to listen to. Keep up the great work!!!

If I were to ask anything. It would have to be to please put the recipes on the videos content. Going through the website and having to scroll through 17 swipes down and leaving the video sucks.

Hello! I’m new to the instant pot community. I have the instant pot DUO GOURMET multi-use pressure cooker from Costco. My question is, in your beginner videos you talk about making sure the valve on top is set on “sealing” how do I know that, mine looks different than yours in the videos? Mine has a “press” button? Sorry I’m confused. I can send a pic of what I’m talking about if that helps.

I am frustrated because I have a Cuisinart Pressure cooker thus I don't have all those presets. I wanted to make yogurt, but there is no conversion. 🙁 My life is so hard…. LOL

I cook a lot of Korean and Japanese food. Will the sticky glutenous rice used in these kinds of recipes use the same timing in the instant pot? Thank you for your response.

I just got my first instant pot today and would like to try the eggs first. When you say “12-15 minute natural pressure release” – what does that mean? Do I just let it sit after the cooking is done or is there a button to press or valve to open?
