Just wanted to tell you my trick for potato soup..🥔🧅🥔
When I don’t have quite enough potatoes, I use POTATO FLAKES to stretch the soup… so used to adding the flakes that I now use them to thicken the soup all of the time. It really helps to get the consistency right. Just add a few at a time to see how many you might need. They take a few minutes to thicken up. …..and as a side note, I don’t have to use as much dairy when I do it that way..
I know most of us keep some potato flakes in our pantry these days..
    hope this helps..👍🏼

Your family is so precious.. You are blessed,

Great deal… You put 2 meats in the dinner, but none in the potato soup… You could have added the ground sausage to the potato soup and leave the hot dogs for dinner… that way every meal could have had some protein…

If you would of bought tortillas you could of made some potato tacos 🙂 One of my family favorites when we do a no meat day we add cheese, lettuce and green salsa as toppings. It's pretty easy just boil your peeled potatoes (20 min)and drain. Then smash add salt, black pepper and onion powder if desired. Add a small amount of smashed potatoes portion to steamed tortilla ( I microwave my tortillas in a plastic bag in microwave for a couple of minutes careful it will be hot) fold over tortilla half way like a taco and then deep fry your potato tacos for just a few minutes both sides and make as crispy as you like and done. Lay on paper towels to drain excess oil and add your favorite toppings. You can probably search "tacos De papa dorados" on youtube 🙂 hope u try it out .

For those adventurous enough to make their own tortillas (flour, fat, water) that would have extended your meals even that much further. Always keep stressing to use what you have, it's so true.
