Before I got my I P I had to stop making hard boiled eggs. I tried every "cooking trick" in the book but could never peel them w/o peeling half the egg away. I P is worth it for the eggs alone! I love it for baby back ribs (had those last night) and roasts and beef stew especially, so quick compared to the slow cooker.
what size is your instant pot? I just got a 6 quart and was wondering if I could cook more beans in it.
How comparable is a power cooler do a instant pot?

I like to cook frozen ground beef in mine. It takes all the fat out of it. I can do 5 lbs in my 8 qt. I usually end up re-freezing 3 lbs of it to use later for a quick dinner.

I use 1:1.5 for rice too, makes a nicer texture to the grains.
