My Crockpot has gotten a lot of use this summer. I made pork chops last night and crack chicken tonight in mine. I think I’ll do meatballs like yours tomorrow night. 😂♥️

Oh yes to crockpot meals. We had company this past weekend & I had 2 crockpots going at the same time. I prepared bbq chicken in 1 for bbq chicken sandwiches & a chuck roast with bbq sauce for bbq beef sandwiches. For another meal we had hotdogs & hamburgers. I have lots of hotdog buns leftover. Thanks so much for the idea of using hot dog buns for meatball subs. My husband doesn’t like me to freeze hotdog & hamburger buns. How y to o you freeze buns? Do you put them in freezer bags?

All great ideas… wishing my husband liked pesto. Weather aside, the slow cooker is a time management strategy for me, allowing me to leverage being a morning person, so yes, year round. Salsa chicken is a favorite, and the meatball subs are on repeat. Got a sale on pork shoulder… Put it in the slow cooker before I go to bed; it's ready to shred and portion/freezer bags when I get up in the morning.
