I make my chili the same way except no celery more chili beans no kidney beans. No bacon but I use Italian sausage instead. instead of white sugar I use dark brown sugar. It provides a richer flavor. I rough chop fresh tomatoes too no canned tomatoes. No beef broth either. I use 2 15 Oz. cans tomato sauce. Do I guess my chili is way different lol.🤣🤣🤣

The seeds aren’t hot! The PLACENTA is where all the heat is. Ditch the seeds. Nobody wants to eat them. If you want more heat use more of the white placenta towards the top of the pepper where the seeds are. 👍🏼

Really excited to try this recipe, the video was fantastic, the only critique I have is you never said what size can to get of the beans or tomatoes (in the description below either) I’m at the store right now and they have 3 different sizes of diced tomatoes and beans and I’m really not sure which ones to get, I don’t want to overdo it on any of the ingredients either. I decided to go with the 16 oz cans of beans and the 28 oz can of diced tomatoes (are these the right size?). Other than that great recipe!

I never remove the seeds of any pepper. I use a different recipe in the crockpot and usually add 2 jalapenos (seeds included) and a habanero (seeds included). I like my spice
