Hey Sara, do you have any recipes that are low sodium? My Grandmothers doctor ordered her to cut out as much salt as she can, but now the food is bland. Do you have any ideas?

What is so fun with these recipes is that you can tweak them based on what you have. Example: I am making the three bean salad today—but it’s getting a healthy dose of Italian seasoning!

look Sara can you stop labeling your meals as something generic like ‘Asian’? Just be specific, whether it was Thai, Indian, Chinese or Indonesian inspired. As a person hailing from the largest continent on the planet, we do NOT eat the same food and Asia is NOT a country. Stop treating us as if we’re all the same. Would you like it if we label Italian, French, Spanish cuisine as ‘European’ or ‘Western’? Start looking beyond your stereotype of what is ‘Asian’ and respect that we have different food habits, lifestyle choices.

Okay, will have to try these. Except the store here only has frozen Edame (not sure that I spelled that right) which I'm sure would work when thawed. That second salad looked really good minus the hot sauce for me. And hot peppers. lol. I love crunchy salads. I like to make fresh Chicpeas over the canned. I don't like the canned kind. 🙂I love Cilantro.

I have an entire shelf, in one pantry cupboard, that is "full of beans" (dried). I eat a lot of bean salads in the summer, but if produce becomes scarce, bean salads are a great alternative. Thanks so much for the video!
