Just me & mom. When I cook 🍖, it's family size, and gets frozen. Freezes smaller, faster to make a meal, and more forgiving of power loss. And we ❤ leftovers.
Mashed 🥔, we boil 4, and then use t hat h2o for instant potatoes 🥔, and mix a BIG bowl. Butter, cream cheese, garlic, herbs, etc. yummm.
YUMMY 😋😋 GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY!✨🙏✨🙏✨
Hello Amy, love your videos! Gwumpkies is a Slavic dish in fact not German, my mother is still doing it everythime I visit her. The original name in written Polish is "gołąbki". Greetings from France for you and your family.
Ooo cream of mushroom soup in your shepherds pie sounds delish!
Those "gwumpkies" are actually called "Kohlrouladen" in German. Just FYI. "Kohl" means cabbage. "Rouladen" is just the fact that you "roll" the ground beef inside. Hence stuffed cabbage rolls.
Oh boy thats early
I noticed you put uncooked rice, will the rice cook? I usually make cabbage rolls where you don’t use sauerkraut but a tomato sauce, really good
I’m like you Amy, items I put on my Walmart grocery delivery are now being shipped. If their are items you need for a recipe and it’s going to be delivered, you need to order early. I don’t know why they have started doing this. I ordered can green beans, tomato can and cat treats. All items that always came in my grocery delivery are now being shipped and my green beans came dented.
Is it an idiom? I might be wrong. It was the first word that came to mind. lol
Hi wondering if your grandparents yet..
I save time with stuffed cabbage by freezing the cored head whole! Thaw it the day before and the leaves are supple and pliable. Saves me lots of time ☺️
Goumpki is very popular here in Chicago as there is a large Polish population here. I'm only a teeny bit Polish. So my family never made it. But I've had it many times over the years from my friends Polish moms and grandmas. Good memories!
Grocery shopping is so different these days…nacho cheese in the mail HAHAHA
They are called ""Idioms" – my favorites are "A Hitch In My Giddy Up" and "Sore As A Tick On A Brown Bear" (I always assumed it meant that the tick had to work hard to get to the skin).
Hi Amy enjoyed your video gives me ideals for dinner how is Lauren and baby Samuel time is coming Joann St. Louis enjoy your weekend
Catch phrases is what I call them. 😁 Everything looks good!!!
Have you ever had "sour pig pizza"? It's pizza crust, mustard, souerkraut, and ham. It's so yummy
Great video
I bet your house smelt amazing… you make it look soooooo easy 😊
Wow, I've never seen them done like that. My mom was Czech and we called them Holupka. I never liked them (haha)! Mom would make this huge pot full of them with chopped cabbage in the bottom, the Holupka stacked in layers (like 60 of them!) and covered in water and white vinegar (like 2 cups).
I’ll put my egg roll stuffing in tortillas to.
A lot of my Walmart stuff is coming by fedx.
Loved all the freezer meals you fixed . I was wondering where you purchased you can opener from ?
You can buy squeeze bottle ginger and have that for these recipes you make.
Amy , do you do more freezer meals in the winter then the summer ? . I picked up more freezer tins on my Thursday shopping with a friend . I can usually find them on sale around the holidays . Going to definitely start next week my freezer meals . Makes life so much easer and better for sure . Gives me time to do my chores and not have to stop to cook dinner . I just pop in my oven and ready in no time at all . Love 💕 it !!! , Ty , Sharon 👍👌😋🥰😁🙋🏻♀️
Thank you for the great ideas. Happy anniversary.
Thank you ❤ Amy – I made so much today. Hope you have a wonderful Anniversary 🎉
Hey Amy!!
You rock!!!
Loved the video.
Have a great anniversary weekend both of you!!
Wow Amy. That was an amazing video of all the beef dinners. Such a variety. Ur family are so blessed to have a mum like u. Rest up n have a great anniversary weekend. Happy anniversary to both of u.
The way i make Shepherd's pie is ground beef, corn and mashed potatoes 😋
How long do you bake grandma's recipe? Can you cook your frozen one or thae first
Hey Amy I asked before but I forget which leggings would u say u love the most?
Funny they say don't like potatoes, yet eat instant dry potato flakes, same thing only difference is its dehydrated potatoes. Kids can be fussy.
BTW – Have a BEAUTIFUL & WONDERFUL Happy Anniversary Weekend!
Hitch in my giddy up… every day I feel it.
i love that you used canned sloppy joe sauce. I have tried so many recipes but my boys only like the canned. I make taco meat, sloppy joe meat, and shepherds pie each month. Love your videos!
Great job! What kind and where are the plastic containers you use for the freezer from? Thanks
Amy, I know you love your 10 kid Taco Chili, but have you ever tried White Chili? It's a chicken based chili with white beans, canned green chilis, a jar of salsa verde (green salsa), onion, garlic, cumin, salt, pepper, and topped with sour cream and cheese. It is really good. Also, you can top it with chopped bacon for a smokey flavor which is also yummy, I bet bacon would be good on your 10 kid taco chili as well.
That was fast and easy! I love it. You always continue to impress me! Saved to "Amy" file in my Freezer Meal meals. Thank you!
Thank you I am enjoy your videos very much. Can I asked what you put in your spaghetti sauce please.
I freeze garlic, peeled or not. Never had a problem. It will eventually go bad but is is slower with freezing
Where did you get the cab opener for the 10# can? I checked your Amazon list and didn’t see it there.
Good morning, Amy!! Love your videos!! Thanks 😊
Cabbage wraps remind me of hobo meals from scouts.
Anyone heard of….. I can’t spell it right but sounds like boo-ya….. from St. Paul Minnesota?
Hello, love your channel 🥰. Can you please let me know where you purchased your can opener??? 😊. Thanks in advance
We have a family-wide Christmas cactus too! My sister is the cactus queen, like your mom! She is a self-taught botanist and works at our local garden center and she has shared a ton of our family Christmas cactus pieces at her work, and pots them and they just keep on going! It was my grandmother's 80 years ago and she's still going! She even bloomed a few weeks ago 😂 she's a little confused sometimes, but it'll be okay 😂
You don’t wash your mushrooms??? Every time I buy them they’re full of dirt and soil! 😳
