Your amazing
You can saute with water or broth/stock if you have no oil/butter/fat or want to cut back on those.
Did you know Toad in the Hole is actually a Yorshire pudding batter with sausages in it, and baked in the oven. That's the original anyways. Also instead of peeling the potatoes as you did, before you put them in the water, or when they're cooked, just make one skin deep slice around the middle (crosswise not lengthwise) of the potato, and holding both ends (with hands meeting in the middle, you may need oven mitts if hot) twist in either direction and the entire half skin should slip right off. Just like when you're twisting two halves of a peach only just the skins are being twisted.
If you need the appearance of milk in a soup or gravy, you can use just a bit of evaporated milk or powdered milk to make it white and smell like milk without adding a lot of milk.
Smart, delicious, and economical!! Trifecta!! Thanks for all you do, Jamerrill. Blessings
if u cook ur rice the night before then when cools down stick it in fridge ur fried rice will come out better not sticky or clumpy.
Bravo! There are so many nutritious meals here for everyone! π And, I love your positivity!
Thank you this will help so many people.
The secret to good fried rice is day old rice, preferably inside the fridge cold day old rice… even with basic garlic, oil and salt, it will taste amazing. In the Philippines, we call this Sinangang, yum! π΅π
We called those "egg in a bucket" when we were growing up..such a fav.
No food wasted in your home!! I love it!!! Thank you for sharing!!
Woah. . Great job. Great stretch
I have a,question for u if u can help me can u tell me about can u freeze up ur holiday eggnog
Love your fast and easy budget meals! Im going to make them all. Im not to sure about the oatmeal meals. Not really a fan of it. Thank you Girl!! π»
That potato soup looks so creamy and delicious!!! By chance do you have any recipes for breakfast for baked oatmeal bars? P.S. this video has made me so hungry ππ! There's nothing better than some good ol' southern homemade cooking! You make my heart smile and my belly growl πβ€οΈ!
Hey Jamerrill! I can't remember if y'all have goats or not but I know you're very knowledgeable so incase you don't have goats you probably know the answer already to my question. Ok so on my little 10 acre farm I also give my scraps to our chickens like you do. Well this spring we bought 2 little girls that are Nubian goats. So for my question, can I give them scraps as well? For some reason I'm thinking I can but I'm not quite sure. I've asked around to different people and half tell me yes and half tell me no. Please tell me if you know if I can or not. Thanks sweetie! π
Another option would have been banana pancakes. (Eggs and bananas) Melt the jelly on the stove top for syrup. Great way to use up overripe bananas.
Watching you prep reminds me of helping the grownups get ready for the big holiday meals when I was a child. It was always my job to chop the bell peppers and celery.
My family laughs at me because the only things I add to our grocery list is coffee, creamer and sugar. Gotta have my coffee! LoL
You know what? Been eating like this during the last 2 years for the pandemic. Smh. Sometimes your body just screams.. heck I want a steak or whatever. So sick of eating like this but the cost of living and groceries costs make it so hard. Occasionally I have to splurge or I get a little..you know what. But I am glad your showing people how to. My mother is getting to realize she can not live high on the hog anymore. She is used to $30 roast's and prime rib, etc. But she is retired now. She was also a brand and store snob. She is quickly discovering now that she is retired..not happening. I am trying to show her and my Dad how to cook cheap.
Theses meals remind me of jail food, man did I almost starve to death.
Your so lucky to have kids that will eat that soup, but there is no way my family would eat just that.
The bird in a nest, have you ever tried a piece of ham and slice of cheese cooked on top? I think it would be good, going to try it.
Excellent Job I will certainly use this for my home !! Thanks for all the work you do! I love your videos
Love your Pioneer Woman dishes πThank you for the great meal ideas. There are only three of us now, but we live on a fixed income and grocery prices have really gone up.
I love your channel ππβ€οΈβ€οΈ
My morning (all day) sickness is just too intense and I can't watch food videos. But, I'm liking and commenting to feed the algorithm. Hopefully in a month or two I'll be able to stomach coming back to enjoy this video. β€οΈ
Love your green dress you had on! Is that from zulily?
