Happy New Year!!! ✨ ✨ Today I want to take a quick look back at my 2022 weight loss journey following Dr. McDougall’s …
Great progress! Did you by any chance get any loose skin? I am 43 and following the same diet – Lost 5. Have around 25 more pounds to go and a bit worried about loose skin
I maintained the entire year. My weight on the 1rst of this year was exactly .1 lb up from my 1rst weight last year. So I lost nothing in that year which is still a win for me. However that was not the goal. I only want to lose about 10-15 more but I’m loving sourdough toast. I could do a Mary’s mini or potato reset but I don’t want to do a quick weight loss diet will help me lose but I won’t be able to keep off when I start back eating regular foods.
I can completely relate to all or nothing thinking… I love that you have given yourself permission to live life in peaceful balance and freed yourself from that old playbook of "perfection" – which truly is never attainable.
I like Dr. McDougall's diet too but I find he encourages a bit more grains then I feel comfortable with. I think Dr. Fuhrman's Nutritarian diet is much like McDougall's but slightly more nutrition oriented. I have lost a little more weight with it too. Also, You look good at this weight I think. 🤔 👍
I struggle too with wanting to support local vegan businesses but also wanting to lose weight (which I def have to do due to multiple health reasons ). I'm gonna buy some gift certificates to those businesses and gift them to friends/family. Congrats on not gaining tho!
Great job! I'd sure rather lose 10 pounds in a year, than gain it! Balance? I need more balance in my life too 🙂 Thanks for the update and video E Bell 💕
My word is today. Borrowing from AA, we only have 24 hours, and sometimes not even that. I'm not looking ahead to some lofty goal. If I take care of today, tomorrow will take care of itself.
You are doing a great job! And I like where you're taking your channel! Can't wait to see some of the myriad restaurants and venues Vegas has to offer!
