We normally decorate the day after Thanksgiving but we’re late this year. We have minimal outdoor decorations done. Indoor decorating hasn’t happened yet. We’re gonna do it this weekend. We pretty much stick to the same decorations each year.

New friend here! I love grocery hauls! It's so fun seeing what everyone else buys and why. Yay for you using reusable bags! I love those red lobster biscuits!! So good! I live in Panama and had no idea about the lettuce recall…..that's scary.

Great haul Stacy! I'm so happy to be back to a regular meal plan this week. My Christmas decorations are up. We don't have tons of decor because I don't have a lot of room to store it, plus I don't like my home to be super Christmas "cluttered". We have a few outside decorations that my kids put up, and then we have a big "family" tree for all of the sentimental ornaments, and then I have a 3" tree that is in my living room window that I make "fancy". Have a wonderful week my friend!

Hey Stacy! First I love your earrings and Yes so bummed about the romaine recall as i've been on a salad kick..thank goodness for kale🙏. Can't believe I missed out on this past Free Friday download, and it's such a good one too I love candles, but we were still traveling. I was able to pick up two of the butters while i was visiting my mom and got 5 once i got back home, they were only $1.49 here so that was a score considering the amount of baking that happens around here. Happy early birthday to Hubby! TFS

Great haul! I don’t decorate. I think I would have an anxiety attack! I don’t like decorating because it requires taking down! I have one quilt wall hanging my neighbor gave me and I hang that! I like watching other people decorate and enjoy theirs!

I can’t get over those pansies! I won’t see pansies up north again until around May 😂 And I hear you with the lettuce. I’ve been buying iceberg in the past week and it’s made me incredibly nostalgic to the salads my mom and grandma made when I was a kid. I even picked up some thousand island dressing and told my daughter we’re going old school 😆 And what timing with this question of the week!! You already know what our tree is like- traditional with collected ornaments ☺️🎄 And we do quite a bit of decorating, inside and out. I grew up with lots of decorations and even my grandfather built homemade automated scenes outside- way before the inflatable ones we have now. His displays drew in tons of people and he’d win first place in our region for outdoor Christmas decor year after year. We don’t go all out like that outside, but if my husband had time, he no doubt would 😆 Hope you and Tim are off to a great week. Enjoy those pansies!! Xo Jill

We usually start decorating the Friday after Thanksgiving but I'm running late this year. We have our tree but it's sitting there all bare. We will put garland on the front porch railing, a tree on each side of the steps, and a wreath on the door. All other decorations are indoors. I bought iceberg lettuce last week and was quickly reminded why I don't buy it anymore. It was a sad little head of lettuce with brown all through it. Since we had Thanksgiving early and had taco Thursday it was ok for tacos but I will buy green leaf until romaine is available again. Early 🎉 Happy Birthday 🎂to Tim in case you don't post again before Thursday. Love the little grin at the end of the video.

Hello, kiddo. Boy you have a pretty smile! (: I had to laugh when you said ,"Our Kroger haul was as small as we could make it." Like someone was forcing you to buy…"Hey, lady, you're not getting outta here without THIS!!" Eggs at Walmart today were around $1.42 You really need to ship a Kroger up our way! I love to decorate for Christmas and do what I can when able. Please tell "someone" Happy Birthday!! (:

I definitely decorate. Christmas is my favorite holiday. We haven't decorated our yard yet but we will 🙂 Have a nice evening Stacy!

Hi Stacy! Great hauls! The no romaine thing this week is throwing me off too! I didn’t realize how much I relied on it until I couldn’t have it! lol We decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving – both inside and outside. Usually Friday is inside and Saturday is outside but this year was opposite! We do a tree in our family room downstairs and then one upstairs in the window. I am looking forward to seeing your Christmas decorations! I am sure they are beautiful! Happy birthday to Tim on Thursday – i hope that he has a fantastic day! 😊❤️

I started decorating the day after Thanksgiving and am still working on it. My son was in from Jax, then there was that insane LSU game and my granddaughter wanted to go to the mall yesterday so I barely got anything done. I hope to be finished by the end of this week.

Happy Birthday week Tim! We put up our Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. We don’t decorate outside because we live out in the country and no one really sees it. Besides when a cold front comes through the wind will knock it down. I do the porch out back though. Hope y’all have a great week celebrating the birthday🎂🎉

I normally decorate starting right after Xmas but this year we are doing very little. I am just not into it. I am still recovering from having 3 surgeries in 2018. One in February to do a khyphoplasty to repair 2 cracked vertebrae from a fall last December. I then had to have my pain pump removed due to an infection and damage in the fall to the area where the pain pump was in my left hip. So I had 2 surgeries the last week of July to remove the pump. That left 2 open wounds that are having to heal from the inside out. The largest one my husband could put his fist into. The opening is down to about the size of his thumb. It still needs packed and a bandage changed daily. To stay busy I have been decorating Wine bottles with fairy lights and Xmas Decorations. I have been making Xmas Wreaths made from Christmas Ornaments and doing greenery wreaths that I have for sale at a small place here in town. I also have decorated Xmas lanterns. Lots of items, all Xmas related. I normally do the Craft Fair Circuit but this year I only have things for sale on consignment. I am been making Xmas decorations since September so I am getting tired of Christmas Decorations.

Hi Stacy! Hope Tim has a wonderful birthday. Steak is always a good choice. I’m bummed about the salad recall too, ugh. I substituted cabbage this week for my salads, but Keith will have to do without since he doesn’t like it. Free candle, nice! We started decorating before we left for our Thanksgiving week trip, but I need to finish and do the tree still.

This year hubby is buying new outside lights. He wants to try something more updated and maybe easier on the electric bill. Hope to have them up next weekend if not snowing. Just started inside decorating. Need hubby to get into the attic for the rest.No Christmas tree for us this year. Why ? Just not into dealing with it. Happy birthday to Tim! Tim sounded excited about the iceberg lettuce. I'm just not going to buy any lettuce this week. Fry's/Kroger shopping tomorrow – hoping they have restocked a few things after the holiday. Have a great week.

Tim shares a birthday with my dad! We decorate the inside & outside of the house – usually between the weekend after Thanksgiving and the first weekend in December. We have 2 trees (I would like a few more someday, but nothing too crazy.

I do no decorating now and I remember my Grandmother in Jxn used to put up a table size silver tree – that was all. I didn’t understand that as a small child but now I do.

Tim's cheer over the iceberg lettuce, ha ha. I'm wondering if targeted marketing like apps mean stores carry less stock and only the popular ones. So many things we like are now almost always out. Happy birthday, Tim!

I did not make it to my Kroger store until later Saturday evening, so all of the 3 day sales were pretty much wiped clean lol. But I did manage to get a jar of Classico alfredo sauce as well as a pack of the kroger butter. I usually get country crock stick butter from Walmart, but I figured the kroger brand should work fine on all of my holiday baking 😊.

I absolutely love Chinese food! One of my favorite meals to make is chicken stir fry. I keep saying I'm going to try making fried rice sometime, but just haven't yet.

QOTD answer: in years past I've waited until a week or two before Christmas to put my tree up due to my 4 kitties (one in particular who liked to climb it last year, and our newest one who's favorite spot to lay is under the tree in between all the presents lol). But this year I actually got the tree up the day after Thanksgiving because my daughter really wanted to decorate it. So far there's been no tree climbing lol, but the littlest one is definitely enjoying her new "present" bed lol 😁

Jeff likes to decorate the day after Thanksgiving although this year we haven't started yet. I like to wait till December. My mother decorated two weeks before Christmas when I was a child, now she starts the day after Thanksgiving and she goes crazy! She puts a tree of some sort in every room in her house. She really has far more energy than I do. I will probably get to it this weekend. I still haven't gone to the grocery but will soon. Your haul looked good. Since we're still dieting, we'll be having a lot of salads. Take care and have a great week.

Two nice looking hauls you got there. Happy Birthday, Tim. We decorate the Saturday after Christmas. We didn't finish on Saturday so we finished up after church on Sunday. We made us a sentimental tree this year. We have made the ornaments with the year on them every year after our first Christmas and we put them all on that tree. We collect magnets from places we go and I got them all over the refrigerator haha.

I spy some cute/familiar earrings! The pansies look good too. My Walmart wasn't stocked that great today either. Let me know how the yogurt turns out with fat free milk, I've been wanting to try that. And I need to find out sooner about those Kroger sales!   I would drive and get stuff like the eggs and butter but think you said the sale would be off by now when the video came out. Never heard of that brand of sugar! I wanted grapefruit today but couldn't justify buying the big plastic container. Haha, I heard Tim's whoo hoo again!

My husband goes all Chevy Chase from the Christmas Vacation movie with the outside lights! We usually wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate, and I agree with you that decorating with the ornaments is the best part. I also am not liking the Romaine recall. I like to combine the spinach with some red cabbage to help create a crunchier salad. Thanks for the great dinner ideas!
