Agreed that most of the toys are terrible, but our local Dollar Tree always has glow sticks and those are ALWAYS a good deal. My kids like to use them year round.

TOTALLY AGREE on the Roseart vs Crayola markers/crayons definatly go with the Crayola. The spoons/large plastic bowls etc are what I use for potlucks. That way if it breaks or I lose it its not a big deal. I do love the gift bags, wrapping paper, bows, tags etc but have learned the hard frustrating way to absolutely avoid the scotch tape!

Heard on the news because of inflation, the Dollar Store will be increasing the price to $1.25 an item, not sure when this will take place.
What I buy all the time is greeting cards, birthday decorations, plates, paper cups, tablecloths, balloons, candles.
I also buy all Christmas wrapping paper, gift boxes, gift bags, tissue paper, cards, bows, paper cups
I have used for years the pot holders, and just yesterday I did buy a mitt for the first time , and now I am nervous to use it,
That’s about all I do buy there, never buy food, it’s basically holiday and birthday paper goods

actually, dollar tree knives are GLORIOUS. In addition, they sell a knife sharpener there. And YES, TOOOLS are awesome from there. Why should i pay $10 for a set of computer screwdrivers elsewhere when i can buy a few of those sets at the dollar tree

I don't buy or wear much in the way of makeup, but I love picking up a new shade of nail polish now and again. I do my own nails (and for me a manicure typically doesn't last out the week) so it's fun to change up the color on the cheap. Also, I love buying pens and those magnetic paper pads for jotting down things as we get low during the week. They have some cute ones.

You know they have arts and crafts and toys that can challenge your child's brain. I buy some of those plastic and glass beads, and made a host of three piece sets for myself. This came as a rescue when covid came out and it help fight the boredom of being home.
I love puzzles ,they have those as well.
Just because its not an expensive store ,it doesn't mean everything is cheap.if you haven't checked out a dollar tree ,just try it once,I'll guarantee you will not stip. They have something for everybody.

I brought some of those knives and they're very sharp. They cut meat very easily. I haven't encountered a problem with their ability yet.I briut those food containers with the purple tops ,fou d out they keep your food fresher that some name brands.Ive used some of those skin care products in the past, and they work just fine ,even now ,like the Dermasage lotions and the mouth wash and crest toothpaste, denture tablets, deodorants, and they have my brand.I use Dial soap and they have it ,it has been tried and tested, its still a good soap ,it gives you traction in the tub and leaves you squeaky clean.
