I always let my kids be on the counter while I was cooking. They just want to help and learn. Enjoy it they grow so fast! My one rule was to always pick my battles. Some things aren't worth making a big deal out of if they aren't hurting anything.

For really flakey biscuits, you may want to try cutting in the fat first before adding any wet ingredients. BTW all your baked goods seem really pale. Is it your camera?

Jessica – nurse here – I noticed in one of the clips that your thyroid looks enlarged and at first I thought it could just be lighting. But when you swallowed I could really see it. Have you had this evaluated? Ask your primary care provider for some thyroid bloodwork and an ultrasound. It’s possible you just have a small goiter from an iodine deficiency (which tends to happen after a lot of pregnancies) – if you aren’t using iodized salt anymore then you need a supplement. However, the bloodwork and ultrasound are necessary to rule out hypo- or hyperthyroid or thyroid cancer which usually happens in mid-age, is slow growing which means it’s very treatable, but it’s asymptomatic. Please have this checked to make sure ❤️

Lemonade combined with cucumber juice is delicious! Just whiz several cucumbers in a blender then strain the juice. Mix to taste with each glass of lemonade. Love your recipes/meals.

Using leftover baked potatoes as base for the egg casserole was inspired. I actually used up some older potatoes last night and baked a couple of extra to make a breakfast casserole this morning. Thank you!!!

I just made your biscuit recipe very delicious and easy. I made it even easier by patting the dough onto my parchment covered pan then cut it into squares…then baked as is. Baked a little longer very tasty. Thanks again for sharing your video.

Thanks for sharing how you use your water glassed eggs. I've been using this method for over a year and only used them for baking. I also never put eggs in my biscuits. I'm definitely going to make this this morning to go with sausage biscuits and gravy. Thanks again for sharing your video and recipes.
Great idea, your plan to fill seven emptied jars!! Children learn best when allowed to be in the midst of any project.

You'll lose most of the probiotics, but my grandma always baked pork or turkey cutlets with sauerkraut and applesauce on top. Cover in foil & bake until the meat is cooked to temp. Sweet and salty and so delicious. Might get you through the rest of the sauerkraut. Would be good with your pear sauce too.

I need to get busy with my sprouts!! I forgot about them this winter. I don't make sprouts in the summer because of the garden.
Jessica this pantry challenge is saving me so much money and clearing out the older items in my pantry.

Jessica—-your method of kids on counters . Teaching, raising them is your decision… anybody that criticizes you should remain quiet. Your simple wonderful and God loves you as do moms that have “been there done that”. Your just great!!!!
