The you tube algorithm just showed your channel to me this morning. New subscriber 👋

First I must say…my greatest respect always go to teachers. I respect the profession of teaching over all others.
And yes I am a critical care nurse, BUT…I could not do this without an excellent group of teachers throughout my journey.
We are nothing without good teachers.

Now… this meal is genius!!! In these times of inflation ….this meal is going to help alot of people.
For Thanksgiving this year it will be just…. my adult son, myself & my 85 yr old mom…..so this is perfect.
    Thank you.

Just wanted to add an idea for dessert- for just under $3 you can get a can of great value apple pie filling and jiffy pie crust mix and add an apple pie to your table! (Great value brand cool whip is $0.98 too!)

For just a little bit more you might be able to get a turkey tenderloin or Turkey Cutlets and get more Turkey. Also a Walmart you can often get presliced Turkey from the deli that is reduced per lb because they used the end pieces. At my store they are reduced about $2 a lb.

Whenever you’re not on a budget, the best stuffing roll-ups is with chicken stuffing, deli chicken (I prefer the tomato and Basil chicken sliced on #2) topped with chicken gravy 😅 my husband won’t eat Turkey but he’ll gobble up chicken 😂 anyways, thanks for the vids ❤

Exc'ellent. I think that instead of buying the cream of mushroom soup and french fried onions to make a green bean casserole that I would have opted out for a bag of frozen corn instead but that is simply because we don't eat green bean casserole here.

Good job good job the one thing I was gonna say is you’re probably could’ve gotten two packages of green beans and just used one can of soup and still had a delicious casserole with a little more vegetable … but in my like neck of the woods we don’t do sweet potatoes and mashed potatoes and stuffing and biscuits it’s a lot so I probably would’ve gone for dessert and knocked off the white potatoes box or rice crispies and you could probably make some rice crispy treats… Great job with the turkey

Good job But you don't need to create a meal for $15, $25 or even $100 to make Thanksgiving special. WE as a society have made a big deal about food which is why so many people fall in the obese category. Thanksgiving is not about the food,. It's about being thankful and contented with what you have and family.

Excellent! After our Thanksgiving meal, I make a casserole in a deep dish pie plate and layer mashed potatoes, turkey, stuffing, and gravy. Wrap it up in foil and then have it later for a quick dinner and add a can of cranberries. One Christmas I wasn’t feeling well so I pulled the turkey casserole out of the freezer I made the month before and we had a full turkey dinner with no work on my part. (And w/o all those pots and pans to clean.). Debi in Vicksburg, MS. 🥰🥰

Definitely we will be making the sweet potatoes and green bean casserole! : )
Fresh rolls here, for about the same $ but I already have all the stuff for them. Will plan to make a conpound butter and pull out homemade applesauce and apple butter, too!
Thinking about garlic mashed potatoes this year. We have a good sized turkey breast put aside in the freezer already, unless we are able to score a whole bird for a good price!!
I make a similar stuffing casserole and put a cranberry layer under the stuffing. It's delicious.
My husband has requested mincemeat pie which I have never had so I found a vegetarian version that I am planning on making too. (Noreen's Kitchen on YT) I have everything except the currants and golden raisins thankfully!!
I'm looking forward to preparing our Thanksgiving meal. (We love the Leftovers)

You did a great job with yours!!

Good evening Mandy. For Thanksgiving dinner, I believe I'll be serving some oyster stuffing with mine – a classic, delicious bread dressing with chopped oysters, a nice choice for any holiday dinner. It's loaded with the flavors you'd expect in a stuffing—lots of parsley, celery, breadcrumbs, and onion but with a little something extra special thanks to the addition of oysters. Oyster stuffing's a tasty treat to complement turkey, but of course can also be served with chicken, duck, or goose. And of course, I'll be using oysters from the Great Chesapeake Bay

Pretty amazing! You don't have to have 15 sides with dinner as we have come to do in our country. Clearly you had all of the main sides covered quite well in your dinner and certainly it looked like there was more than enough to eat. Thank you for sharing and showing people how they can have an affordable Thanksgiving meal!
