One of the best purchases I ever made was a GIGANTIC stainless steel mixing bowl. I got it from a restaurant supply to make a giant cake, and I've used it for so many things. Imagine never worrying about spilling anything out of your bowl. Well, if your ingredients take up less than half the space in the bowl, you never will, you can really mix properly if your bowl is enormous, you can toss, and it's fantastic for holding mass quantities of popcorn. I think mine is 16 or 20 quarts, it's bigger than my wok, it's bigger than my sink. Game changer.
Sonny, take a look at your plastic cutting boards. How many cuts are in there? All those cuts are plastic that's gone into your food. I know it's impossible to avoid all plastic intake, but try to minimize it where you can. If you want to separate meat and vegetables cutting boards, get one wooden for your meat.
wet paper towel works alright for keeping the board from slipping. As a woodworker I use gaffer tape a lot for keeping things in place. 4 little rolls, sticky side out, press the board on, perfect, and you don't have to worry about pulling it off to wash it.
I love you cooking videos. I REALLY love this video from you. I’m always eyeballing your equipment. This was helpful. Also, I laughed so hard at your Batman video when you kept beating up Marcus. It cracked me up.
Thanks for stressing about going for good quality products over cheap stuff. I will never understand why so many people think routinely buying something cheap that won't last is better than buying something higher quality one time. It is just so illogical. It makes zero sense. It's just an instant gratification thing, I guess.
Although I don't see how making your own ground beef could possibly be cheaper unless you are butchering your own beef. Higher quality… Definitely but I can't make a pound of lean ground beef for $4 or less a pound.

That cuisine art mixer/blender broke when I tried to make a smoothie. I will tell about alternatives but; you already showed the vitamix.

Love the board that you got from Home Depot. Just something sexy about it being in kitchen. Is that the 4’ x 25” one

Is it just me or is seeing him with hair kinda weird now?
Great comprehensive video. However, I must say I cringed at the way your deba edge looks. 😬
Let me spend hundreds of dollars on a single kitchen tool this video is useless unless you got a massive amount of money in the bank to waste
I thought Halloween was over.
But in all seriousness, tons of great suggestions here.

Just once, I want to use my microplane or mandolin without putting chunks of myself in my food. 😂
Nice video! Thanks!

Awesome info!
Mortar and pestle. I rarely use the small one but use the large one often. Great stuff as always Sonny.
Thanks for the vid! What brand ricer are you using? I didn't see it in the list.
