There is one really good one you missed. Storing avocado puree/guacamole so that it does not brown overnight. Instead of using plastic wrap, put a half inch layer of water with a touch of lime juice over the top. Completely prevents oxygen from browning it and you just pour it off the top the next day. Cheers!

Please do FOOD/KITCHEN SAFETY next!! I see home cooks/bakers making so many dangerous mistakes handling knives, hot objects, or raw poultry.

I felt the last one very deep in my hearth. Best water you will ever have, even better if you add the restaurant ice straight out of the ice machine. Just make sure to label it with a sharpie, accidently used a container that had hot sauce previously (mistaking it for the one I used since both had been washed at the sma time) and had some spicy ice cold water.

For all the mandoline hacks, a good cut-proof glove will help you out so much. They have some that are actually pretty thin so you can still have a good amount of tactile sensation and grip.

#40 is very true. I once burnt a pan full of walnuts by looking away for a minute too long and then had to buy another 5 bucks worth of walnuts ๐Ÿฅฒ
