Yes! I really started sticking up after watching your videos. This month got tight and I was able to plan for 13 days all meals that were needed. Only needed milk and coffee creamer. Everything else I had stocked!! It is definitely a blessing! My van needs a new engine so saving everything we can for that! You have been a blessing! Love watching you and your videos!!!!
Great meals….we cook most all of these too. It's what I grew up on!
I like to make meatloaf one day then take the left overs and use for Spaghetti and meat sauce the next.
The prices of everything are going up daily, at least in Seattle. I'm finding that when I go to replenish items I've used from my pantry, I'm paying a LOT more. I'm shocked at the rate of inflation and at the low prices in your neck of the woods. I'd expect to easily pay double where I live. Thanks for the great ideas and I love your channel!! ๐ฅฐ
Yes to more budget meals. My go to cheapest budget meal is hotdogs with buns and baked beans.
Love these super easy budget friendly meal ideas! We like beans & hotdogs as a quick meal. Or brown some hamburger, add some chili powder & a can of baked beans (had that a lot growing up in a large family). I usually make rice on the side with the beans & beef to help the meal last.
I have all the stuff to make homemade hamburger helper. I want that now. I have to thaw out my ground meat.
Yes, another one please.
I would love to see another budget meals, they all look so good!
It's just me so I get quite a few meals when I make these.
Just make them and freeze the rest in portion size. Also makes for quick easy meals
Thank you so much for sharing your recipes and ideas ๐ธ๐ธ๐ธ
These recipes look really good, can't wait to try them.
Thank you so much ๐ธ๐ธ๐ธ
Great video Tamara Thank you for sharing have a blessed evening stay safe and healthy. ๐โค๐โค
I totally get what you're saying. I also have a prepper pantry. Food security is very important.
What's the best way to thaw the frozen bagged chicken?
We are a family of 6. Our kids are 22 (at home and in college/working), 19 (high school senior), 16, and 6. Our 16 year old is moderate to severe on the spectrum and long ago insisted on certain foods on certain days. I have been able to vary these some by talking to him about it. For example, we can do any pasta on spaghetti day now. Here's our "routine" in case it helps anyone. Having a general routine or template helps me to create meal plans more easily, save money, and eat out less. The easier, the better. I work from home and homeschool the younger 2, so I need easy and I need a plan so I don't stress about it.
Monday – something easy, like a crockpot meal, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, soup, etc.
Tuesday – taco Tuesday; can be tacos, taco soup, quesadillas, fajitas, taco salad, anything like that
Wednesday – random (doing stir fry today) or breakfast for dinner
Thursday – spaghetti Thursday; can be spaghetti, ravioli, baked ziti, lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo, baked macaroni, soup that contains noodles, hamburger helper, etc.
Friday – takeout
Saturday – pizza of some kind
Sunday – usually Sunday dinner type stuff, like roast, ham, chicken and dumplings
And we do a baking project on Sundays, sometimes easy and sometimes not. Usually something like brownies, cookies, a sweet type of bread, or muffins.
I always have bacon bits from Sam's on hand and eggs (because I have chickens). So when I need an extra meal or want to cut the budget for that week, I make bacon, egg and cheese biscuit with fried potatoes (or grits if I don't have any type of potato) very cheap because most people always have stuff to make biscuits.
Very good content. Thank you! My favorite budget meal is a mixture of rice, beans, chicken or gr beef, salsa, seasonings. I serve the first time as is. Then make tacos. Then enchiladas and then crunch wraps. This goes a long ways and has a variety meals in it that donโt have to be eaten one after another.
When I had no money I had 1 lb of hamburger, a couple of potatoes, and a few carrots. I made a pie crust, browned the burger, made a gravy with a bouillon cube and we had hamburger pie. The kids loved it and had no idea we had nothing. We also do hot dog enchiladas…A hot dog with chili and cheese rolled up in a tortilla and baked.
Hi Tamara. Youโve done it again my friend! You are so resourceful! I would LOVE to see more of these! Thanks so much for sharing ๐ค
Yes I want another video also like your video buying food with low cost
We do chili or chili mac
I'm learning a lot from watching your videos it's just me living on one I'm living on one income left with 150.00 dollars to get food to last until my next check the next month learning a lot just want to say thank you ๐
Thank you for sharing! These meals are not only inexpensive, but filling. I'll often add in a can of fruit (or fresh in season fruits) for a "sweet" ending to most of these meals. Adds an extra dollar, but fills the sweet tooth cravings! BTW: our favorite go to is a variation of home made hamburger helper… ๐
You are just an amazing human being! You speak to us regular folks. I love all of your videos, thank you! My cheap meal is English muffin pizzas. I only buy English muffins when they are BOGO at Publix. Marinara sauce, garlic powder and mozzarella cheese. Pop them in the air fryer and enjoy!!
Wow your prices are great. Definitely a lot higher where I live.
Great meal ideas!! โค
always in the mood to watch your vids so its a big yes please for another budget meal breakdown. and I agree on the prepper pantry principle! if you are buying it ANYWAY, when its on sale buy one or two extra soo when you want it, its there AND it didnt cost you full price to have it, if you slowly do that over time, then the food shortages wont affect you as much becuase you HAVE that in there to use.. makes perfect budgeting AND preemptive spending sense.. why pay full price or even an inflated price when some pantry stock can save the hassle and cash? ๐คทโโ๐คทโโ๐คท
Amen I just my back stock many times .๐
I loved this, I am on a super tight budget and I get bored of samo samo,, I love getting ideas! I hope you do more!
Loving these videos! I make a lot of these but havenโt done the salsa chicken yet, Iโll have to try it. My husband is the same way about bbq chicken and I donโt understand! ๐ sloppy joes are another cheap one that we all love too!
