I do remember Tupperware parties it as me and my friends main source of socializing. I do not remember that cool steamer of course I never had a microwave because it was before they made microwaves lol

Looks really good, Debi! I will have to try your recipe. I used to sell Tupperware when I was nineteen and did the demonstrations, was so nervous speaking in front of a crowd, haha! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Love my tupperware cooker, strainer! I don't have the 70's one, but it is Tupperware from the early 90's. It is a very used piece in my home.
I've had a bag of risotto rice for a long time. Why? Same reason, the time to take cooking it! Thank you so much for this recipe! That's what's for dinner tonight. ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

I love mushroom risotto. I know it's not compliant with Dr. McDougall's advice but in this case I add some homemade cashew parmesan to attain the typical creamy mouthfeel.

Iโ€™ve made a stovetop version of mushroom risotto semi-successfully but Iโ€™m so glad youโ€™ve perfected it in the instant pot! Better yet, I canโ€™t wait to try! Thank you!
