I didnโt think beans could actually go bad they can get really old and dried out and take extra extra long to cook they probably needed to be soaked ahead of time even though you were putting them in the instant pot
Yeah I don't like those egg noodles at all. They're more like a dumpling where an egg noodle is more of an actual swirled pasta to me.

You were super smart to cook the noodles separately and not in the crock pot! I made that mistake once and I swear I cooked those damn noodles in the crock pot for like two hours and they were still undercooked in the center ๐๐

So i make a similar dish to the chicken crockpot with egg noodles. I use all the same stuff except i add either a pack of powdered chicken or turkey gravy, sometimes i do one of each if i want it super rich. Sometimes ill add in celery onions and carrots. I serve it over mashed potatoes or white rice. It soo yummy. Ill have to try egg noodles!

I think I had a bad batch of beans recently too. I made some bacon white beans, and no matter how long I cooked them, they had a weird hard texture. Such a bummer. Great week of meals! ๐ค
Edit to add: we also love Mississippi roast here, and I wanted to change it up so I tried using a top sirloin roast. Big mistake it was so underwhelming ๐ญ chuck all the way for that recipe! Iโll definitely have to try chicken one of these days ๐คค

Hey, Taylor ๐. Those noodles are like old fashioned homemade egg noodles ๐. I will be making them for Thanksgivings! Homemade not frozen.
That's how I usually do my chicken and noodles. It is so good! If you want to take it to the next level, serve it over mashed potatoes or split biscuits.

I'm so glad you got inspired by the chicken & noodles recipe! I've never tried it in the crockpot but I will now! Also, good to know the noodles cook ok on their own, I've honestly never cooked them alone. PS when you said in your intro you had one fail, I panicked thinking it was my suggestion lolol
