Hi Lau family, love your videos. The baby is a joy! You only have time for one recipe I know but as you show and all Chinese families know, we don't have just one dish with rice, we usually share a few dishes for a family dinner and there is an art to balance a table of flavours and methods of cooking and nutrition. Please show!
Ahh yes, a quintessential stir fry. Personally I would cook the aromatics in the oil before searing the beef so it imparts some of that flavour into the beef.
粤菜还有一烹饪的方式叫“啫”。ze。 young people 现在家里都成了电磁炉,没有炒锅是一个很让年轻人头疼的问题,put them off lol 。好像您那样腌制好的上好牛肉,在平底不粘锅里啫出来,我发现对牛肉来讲非常给力。然后再同其他材料(炒水出来的西兰花等),再炒就容易了。我发现最后不是炒了,变成了捞埋。哈。
What would be some meat substitutes for flank steak, apparently in Australia we don't use as a separate cut, only thrown in ground beef. I have been to 4 separate butchers who have all told me the same thing.
hmm…I do love sesame oil, i usually add a splash to my stir fry marinades. flank steak, though. that was an unexpected cut. omma have to try this recipe, cause I do adore broccoili beef.
I'm so glad you guys are back! I missed y'all. Also I think my favorite part of these videos is when your dad feeds you at the end. It's so funny and adorable. I love watching yummy food being made!
Loved the content, but the editing seemed so much choppier than previous videos. Most of the transitions made sense since it was about viewing your dad's work from different angles. But some edits seemed so random.
Thank you Papa Lau with this amazing dish! Can I suggest Papa Lau to teach us how to make some soup with easy ingredient. We, Cantonese love soup, don’t we? Thank you!
Perfect timing! I just defrosted some flank steak, and was planning on making Beef and Broccoli tonight. One of the only things my kids eat. But the recipe i use feels heavy and too salty. This one looks amazing, and I'm going to try it instead. Thanks for posting!
Excellent video! I have to agree with Dad, though: I'm not that crazy about Western broccoli. Give me gai lan or any of the many other Asian vegetables over broccoli.
I practically grew up on this! It was one of my parents’ go to weeknight dinner.
This was the first dish I learnt as a kid!
Not many people know about the baking soda trick. Makes all the difference.
great stuff. nice job and the edits, camera work and subtitles are up another level!
Can you please make a video of lemon chicken????!!!!
So glad you guys are back!!! Missed you!!!

I love your channel. where can i find this "mei jau" finishing oil?

Thank you for sharing…the Beef Broccoli dish looks yummy! Never thought about rinsing the meat this way…will do for sure going forward.

That red water deff wasn’t blood ,
Looks si delicious 😋
So interesting to hear broccoli is called differently. It is my first time to hear 西芥蘭,I only knew it as 西蘭花. (Growing up in Hong Kong)
Thanks for sharing .. Is it possible .. for your dad to make Chinese Fried Rice and roast chicken?
Yummmmmm 😍🤤👌🏻
Welcome back Mr.Lau, thank you for sharing more yummy dishes
Made with Lau is back. Love this channel. Can your dad do Har-gow next?

Your dad is awesome. He has inspired me to cook again for my family. Hopefully, this time they will enjoy my cooking. Thank you Chef Lau

I've missed you guys. My beef broccoli has always been weirdly soupy, i'll try this version instead.
Great to see you all back! This is a nice dish that's not difficult to make.
Any chances Daddy Lau can make crispy ginger beef for us to learn?

Love love beef n broccoli!! My guilty Chinese American pleasure 😍😍😍😍
your video so nice ,futere cook together
Looking delicious! For the first cooking of the beef, I have seen people deep fry the beef for like 10 seconds to cook it all evenly and quickly.
I am so happy to see you back cooking and teaching me. I missed you Mr. Lau.
We missed y’all 😭😭😭
is the baking soda only use to tenderize the beef meat or it can be used with chicken and pork?
Great history on the origins of broccoli beef. We will be trying your recipe. Your father is adorable and a great chef!
Chinese food is cheap and this is a perfect example.
