I also meant to mention in the video that my weight hasn't gone up or down in the past 6 weeks. Very happy that I didn't gain with the extra carbs I've added!
Thanks for sharing your experience with this. I had been considering trying it, now I don’t think I will bother. I’d rather stay in ketosis, and not worry about whether I’m going to blow the right numbers. ❤️
Thanks for the heads-up about this Lumen device!
Thank you for the detailed information on the device! I am on Keto and I almost bought the device. 🙂
The whole idea is optimizing metabolic flexibility.
Wow, that sounds like it was not very useful for you. I just learned about data driven fasting using a glucose meter and that seems like it would be better than the Lumen!
My Daughter is a body builder and competes she is lean! eating 200 carbs a day she thinks keto is bogus long term! I’ve stalled For 6 months on keto and IF after losing 30 pounds!
Thanks for the info. Very helpful.
Thank you for this information. I had thought about getting this. Now I don't need to think about it anymore.
Thanks for sharing your experience with the Lumen
❤❤
It is advertised as just a thing to blow into. I think it is false advertising because they do not tell u about the whole program. Glad u haven’t gained weight using it.
Similar. I blew all 1s for several weeks when my blood sugar was at its highest. In fact, I even failed a boost day because I couldn't get off of the 1. I have wondered if the Lumen might accurately be reflecting what my body was burning for fuel and perhaps that was why my blood glucose was so high. I had been fat adapted so long that I was continuing to burn fat and possibly even ketones instead of the blood glucose.
In any case, focusing my diet on bringing my blood sugar down brought my Lumen levels back up. I decided the Lumen was not helpful for me.
So confusing! Thank you for the review. Seems like doing higher and lower carb days would be similar or even better.
I would think the CGM is a much better tool than the Luma. Cool information
