Congrats! I can lose 20 pounds in a month on The Tim Ferris Slow Carb “4 hour body diet”
Lots of beans and lots of protein and even huge cheat days! But with the Lower carb with “IF”. I’m down lower than I have after my 3rd child I’ve had 6 kids! I was 5’8” and 120 pounds.
I grew on a 40 acre farm with lots of meat, garden veggies, fresh whole milk and butter and eggs.. and lots of hard work! We had a huge garden! Canned and froze our own veggies, I milked a cow in the morning before school, grew our own beef cattle, pig, lamb, it took us an hour to get to school .. 7 siblings ..

I'm in the exact same boat. Been stuck at same weight for over a year. Can you explain more about what you actually eat on lean days? Do you use intermediate fasting at all? Thanks for your videos!

Fantastic! Getting into those wish jeans is so powerful in staying the course. I haven't reached the pulling over my hips yet with my jeans, but I am still trying. I am so glad you talked about being stalled for a couple years. I have been stalled about a year after losing over a hundred pounds. Nothing was working and I made the mistake of cutting my food back. No, no, no, not again! I am working at getting my protein levels up and eating more food. I lost 5 pounds over December so I am going to try your lean day routine to see where that goes. You inspire me to keep trying and find what works best with my body and keeping it healthy.

Congratulations!! I really appreciate your videos and motivation. I started doing 3 days of leans days a week as well and cutting out diary. I had one of those “shock” moments with the scale this week. I pretty much stayed around 177-179 for December and was 179 at the beginning of January. Got on the scale and it was 172.4. I’ve never lost weight this fast. Kinda scared me 🤣

Nili, I'm so excited for you! You have found this "fat cycling" approach that is very much doable and not overly restrictive yet yields great results!! And, what's even more exciting IMO, it will be very easy to transition to maintenance once you reach your goal weight!!
I'm also very close to my goal weight (not quite sure what that will ultimately be!!) and I've decided to adopt your fat-cycling method myself. I find PSMF to be way too restrictive for me.
Thank you for everything you do with your recipes, your tweaking experiments, and especially for your wellness Wednesdays!!

    Great video and message.
*i came across an egg noodle video. Not your typical egg noodle! Its just made with egg! I fixed spaghetti last night. Its so very close to the real deal. Recipe from Keto woman , original recipe from Keto Asian Flavors here on youtube. She’s brilliant.
    Thanks, Nili!

When I randomly held dairy for October I noticed how great I felt too. Had no clue I was intolerant. I missed cheese so I researched and found I'm ok with hard cheeses so I'm occasionally having parmesan guda or Muenster. So far so good. Congrats on the scale victory.

Congrats on the weight loss. That is amazinf! Good for you. Isn’t it great when you figure out what works for you?? I know for a fact that I could never live on 800 calories a day. I would be starving all the time. I am happy with the way I’ve been eating lately. I don’t need to lose weight but I have figured out what works to make me feel better. I am still having a bit of a fatigue issue but it is way better then it was. I actuallyt had a small amount of white rice with dinner tonight (first I;ve had in 2 weeks) and it isn’t making me tired. That is great, I have been having a cup of berries for dessert lately. It is doing what I thought it would – filling the sweet tooth, I had a breakfast burrito with vegan eggs and vegan sausage this morning. In a quinoa tortilla. Lunch was Impossible Chicken Nuggets and butternut squash fries. Dinner was air fried chicken in a mustard marinade and a little white rice. I was too lazy to. put together my cauliflower rice for the night. Decided to see what would happen. I feel well. I’ll go back to eating a high protein breakfast, a big salad with protein before work, a low carb snack at work and a healthy high protein dinner. I haven’t had candy, real bread, processed foods, beans, grains, or real desserts in 12 days, I made the egg bread today (with the egg white powder and the whole egg powder) today. Came out pretty good, I have to let it bake a little longer next time as it was a tiny bit under-done (the little loaves were) and the buns were perfect, I am ordering some silicone hamburger bun pans from Amazon this week, Can’t wait to get them. I sent you the pictures on Instagram. I will be playing with the recipe. See what I can create! Thanks for an easy and fun recipe.

Thanks so much for the update👍
Your skin is still looking really even and has a lovely texture.
    Quick question:
Do you use any butter being dairy free? Some will say "dairy free" but still use butter. Just curious☺.

Speaking from personal experience, I am not surprised at all. Lower fat, especially for women, is the way to go for fat loss. I did a program called Ideal Protein which I now know is the same protocol as PSMF but doing it without pre-packaged foods. I’m doing the protocol again to eliminate weight gain from surgery and I’m in month 4 and month 3 from Dec 8 – Jan 8 I lost 19 lbs…holy heck! The fat is just melting off – going way fast then my plan. I’m 3 tenths of a pound from my end of Feb goal as an example. I’m doing PSMF every day except I had keto days on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. PSMF is the way to go. I’m supplementing as well with lots of food based supplements including beef organs as that is the best natural multivitamin. By doing this I have no issues with hunger as my hormones are all good (I’m post menopausal) so my body is getting what it needs and therefore burning fat effectively. I’m in my last 15 pounds that would make a good maintenance weight for me but I’ll probably go 10 more but I’ll base that on how I feel. It is very easy for me to transition to keto after this restrictive protocol as well.

Yes as a registered dietitian I see these type events when folks stay clear of most dairy.. dialing back the fats is the key.. like I say often to clients if you wanna burn the butt.. keep the fat out of the cup… No need for fatty drinks and High fat when there's thousands of calories on the human body ready for use.. dont get me wrong..fats have a place on the spectrum indeed and the body needs it however its definitely not in the volume in which most have.. its never a long term.. tool.. then they stall and wander why…Especially for those who aren't super lean and most of the population isn't at an athletic percentage….to begin with..But your right.. most people Love dairy and its that love and attachment for comfort foods.. that they aren't willing to leave behind…but once they see and more importantly *FEEL…the difference..there just no sense in giving our body something it has shown time and time again not to do well with.. there are no words for how wonderful it feels to live in an anti-inflammatory body…So no matter how much cheese smiles at me.. we are never getting back together ❤ Mom says she looks at cheese 🧀 like Little Debbie's kid sister.. neither of which she can't befriend anymore lol… Hugs and Kisses to all the kids ! Keep slaying the homestead! Can't wait to see more of the projects coming together there! Spring is coming!
love you Vlogs.. and your inspiration …2022 is going to be great !

I'm just down the road from you in Milwaukie. Found your channel a few months back and have very much enjoyed your egg bread videos. Was interested to see how your plan worked after Christmas and also pleasantly surprised how big of a success you had! Motivates me to try the same strategy. Congrats on your success!
