Ahhhh, good to know that the Great Value Rice crisps are gluten free (as regular Rice Krispie brand is not, since they contain malt). I don't shop Walmart often, I wasn't aware that theirs are!! HOORAY I can use those for Rice Krispie treats now!

Chicken scratch pot pie looks yummy! Hibachi is my families favorite but I buy aldi's terriyaki sauce and cheat. The buckwheat bread is so dark compared to regular bread. When my kids were little if foods looked different they wouldn't eat it now they are all in high school and they eat everything all the time! Take care and have a great week!

Hey, I’m not sure if you were using the same recipe as you do for your regular Dutch oven bread but it usually is a different recipe for buckwheat. I have one that we like and I’m happy to send it to you somehow?

Hope you are all doing well! We finished up homeschool last week so we are now on break for a bit which is much needed for me. We did sign up for a cyber summer program so we will do that but its only once a week. I got a lot of things on my list id like to get done over the summer. Lots of cleaning, decluttering, organizing and some painting plus fun in between lol!
Did you add the yeast to the buckwheat bread? I didn’t notice it in the video, maybe that’s why it didn’t rise? 💜

We had a “no thank you” helping rule. They had to eat 3 bites of something they didn’t want to eat bc they “didn’t like it” or because they didn’t want to try it based on how it looked. They are now extremely adventurous eaters. They eat things I won’t eat like oysters. lol. My son was the worst. He’d look at something and decide he didn’t like it even though he’d never tried it. Enter the “no thank you” helping. And it had to be an actual bite. They thought we were the meanest parents ever. I would just tell them I was making sure they had things to talk to their future therapist about.

I get a kick out of your visitor because I once had a cat with a social calendar. If I wanted to know where she was, I had to look at the clock. That dog probably visits other neighbors as well. It would be fun to find out.
