Girrrrrrl I need it. Lemme go to the store real quick. Ugh…..I could eat hummus all day. One of my professors was from Israel. She used to bring in pans of hummus on some fridays and that was the best hummus I'd ever had in my life.

OMG, I made this last night and it actually worked! I used to soak the chickpeas in plain water and then boil them with sodium bicarbonate but it didn't make that much of a difference in terms of their hardness. Let me tell you, last night I was shocked at how soft soaking them in sodium bicarbonate made them! Plus the combination of ingredients… turned it into the best hummus I ate, not even those I got from a store could even compare! So THANK YOU for the recipe! <3

fun fact, the hummus and fool(beans) is an Egyptian dish because they are famous for eating fool for breakfast and dinner because its a poor man's meal that's affordable and yummy. so they have become super creative about how you can eat fool.

I used your tips (instant pot cooking method with onions and bay leaves and processing the garlic and letting it sit in the lemon juice) and integrated it with my hummus recipe that I had already made and it was AMAZING. I just add a lot more lemon juice and cumin, and today I put in some parsley from my garden and it was so good. Thanks for this video!

I just made this recipe and my instantpot literally exploded πŸ™Š idk if it was the chickpeas or the baking soda but I cooked them for the time you said and the beans were not even beans anymore they were just mush and they started exploding through the release valve. Lol I have no idea what happened. I still followed the tho with the mush and oh my goodness the best hummus everrrr! Definitely worth it πŸ˜‹

Disappointed to see Candace visited and is glorifying the settler colonial state that is β€œIsrael.” How can you be vegan while visiting/supporting such places? Sad to say I have to unsub.
