Almond Milk Recipe.: Cover 1 cup of whole raw almonds in hot water for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, rinse the almonds. Place the almonds in a blender with 3 cups of water. Blend them. Depending on what you're using them for, strain the liquid. You can season the liquid if you'd like.

Yay! So nice to see you trying our Jamaican recipe. Adding condensed milk with vanilla and nutmeg is the most basic recipe. Taste more like a desert and he naturally like it that way lol. Although I think the coconut milk is healthier. Not sure about using the cloves tho lol

I made some today, I am in Barbados πŸ‡§πŸ‡§. My recipe was to boil with a stick of cinnamon and star anise until soft, then blend and add sugar to taste and choice of milk. It was delicious chilled. Your husband reacted like my daughter, but she has agreed to add it to her smoothies.

    Thanks for stopping by everyone!
FYI, there was no sea or salt flavor. Washing and soaking eliminates traces of the ocean scent. The recipe that I used was by a Jamaican man. It’s actually very good and almost resembles egg nog. Cheers.

Make the gel then only add 1-2 tablespoons to your smoothie. 1 Banana, 1 cup water, 1/2 cup almonds (any nuts) & 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg. It’s simple but delicious my adult son loves this one. You can substitute peanut butter, almond butter ect… for the nuts 1/4 cup

Greetings….with regards to skinny chicken, they are the real deal. Most African groceries sell broilers. I stay away from them. Not sure what they are fed. I prefer the local chickens like yours. They are sold in most markets and they clean and cut them for you just like we did in the Caribbean. skinny chicken meat sweet, sweet, sweet.

Your ingredients are Trinidadian style, at least, mine…no honey, just sugar…no vanilla, and I remove the cloves.
If it's not boiled, the taste is somewhat like straight out of the sea for a newbie.
I know your sea moss is very good, so try again.
On YT, look up a Jamaican recipe.
Play with it till he does his dance and says, "what!"

His reaction is hilarious. πŸ˜…πŸ˜… I usually soak and wash a lot! At least three times. Then blend with fruit. I can't seem to cut the fishy taste altogether but I take it in one Oz shots.

    πŸ’πŸΎβ€β™€οΈGreat video!

    Seamoss gel:
after wash- soak overnight with 5-6 cut/ squeezed whole limes. (Limes eliminates majority of fishy smell/taste)
Next day: blend…adding spring water until reached consistency. Place in mason jars, refrigerate. Add required amount to smoothies, soups, etc.

    Enjoy! ❀
