My canned corn never kept well; always soured in the jars. Frozen, I don't mind, so, that's how I put it up. 24 ears/bushel. 3-4 bushels a year and we were good on corn. Corn was the only veg I came a cropper with. Everything else, beans green and dry, tomato products, squashes, pumpkin, potatoes, etc., beautiful on the shelves.

If you save the lids to your parmesan when you run out, they fit perfectly on regular mouth mason jars! We keep those lids on jars to store our homemade hot chocolate powder (just cocoa powder, sugar, and powdered sugar), cinnamon sugar, etc.

After seeing you use your bread machine I purchased one a few months ago. It has made the difference in our bread. I just use the dough cycle. It mixes it so well. We froze the corn we grew and it never came to mind to can it. That’s very smart. Dinner looks yummy!

How cute is the little trio out walking and taking in nature along the way. Layla is at the perfect where everything is of interest n she’s curious, lol….
