I really enjoyed y’all road trip to see some familiar stomping grounds in Texas! Thank you for letting Mr. Delvin share his successful journey with us. It was very inspiring and just what I needed to hear to get my business started this year. Chef Jeff, I’m so sorry for being so late to comment on your next few videos. I’ve been having issues with my phone, but I was able to watch you on my tv. Also, my 8 year old enjoyed this video too! I believe he wants to be a chef too! You all are helping a new generation and just like me, he will be starting off learning the old school way!

There is something about Mr. Delvin’s β€œLife’s Story” that makes you grateful that we still have many from the β€œOld School” that can mentor and serve as an inspiration for our upcoming generation of entrepreneurs – one lesson being, β€œWhen it’s what you Love it isn’t Work”‼️ The hours may be long and the devotion constant, but that’s how it is when it’s Your Passion. Whether you are Paying Back, Paying Forward, or nurturing a Legacy, it’s a Blessing in knowing that as you went up two steps, you were able to extend a hand to bring another up one

Good interview. I was glad to hear him share how he acquired his equipment. I worked for GSA out of Washington. If you are in need for equipment that’s a good way to make a good purchase. Congratulations on your success. Keep full filling your dreams that’s what life is all about.
Thanks for sharing. Hope to hear from you again. Chef Jeffrey thanks for bringing this interview to Old School Soul Food. 😊

Great interview with Delvin. He's an intelligent man and Creative as all get out!! Unfortunately Covid put a damper on all. Seems like it stopped the world but time kept on ticking. Delvins a great mentor, like you, Jeffery. Love his place and I wouldn't miss the chance of stopping in to eat well! I've said so many times as well, If you love doing what you do, it's Not working. That's me in the hair and makeup industry. It's fun and all play!! Thanks for sharing this. Truly Enjoyed. πŸ™Œ Who had to sleep on the sofa sleeper πŸ˜£πŸ˜‚ I look forward to the next!
There's a ton of those windmills in Iowa between IL and NE. Sometimes they all aren't working.

Rarely do I comment on videos, but this one is so special I wanted to comment again. This is for Dylan: What you have amongst your presence are very special salt of the earth, successful men that are willing to mentor and teach. Please take advantage of this opportunity to grow and learn. Mentoring is somewhat rare nowadays, because there are a lot of people that once they make it, they don't care to teach and guide anyone. I don't know if they only care about themselves, they weren't properly mentored, or they just don't see the importance of it. My son had a father and stepfather in his life, but neither one of them took the time that was needed to guide him by spending time with him, and showing him first hand what being a man truly is. Of course I did my part in loving and guiding him but nothing replaces a strong male role model. My son is married with children and he is an officer in the Air Force, he's doing well but I feel if he had what young men need besides their mothers love, is a positive male role model taking the time to teach him, he would have felt more centered, and had more confidence when he first got out on his own. So thank you Chef Jeffrey for doing this video, it touched my heart and soul. May God continue bless all of you. πŸ™πŸΎβ€οΈπŸ‘πŸΎ

My husband would love a flip grill like that. He absolutely love to grill and does a really good job with his ribs😘 He’s currently deployed and I’m missing those ribs. If your friend had a restaurant here in Jacksonville.or you Chef Williams I would be there TODAY!!

Good video. By the way, the windmills account for less than 15% of the power for Texas. The major problem was that the power plants that supply the majority of the power for Texas were not winterized. They passed a bill to get the power plants winterized but it will take time. And some companies that own the power plants are refusing to do it.

The Volume is Crazy up and down from the loud background distractions in the restaurant, where he should have been talking louder to his whispering outside, you apparently are doing these interviews for the followers, why not take better control of the Volume…

Man I would love to spend a day just talking with the three of you. Delvin speaks a lot of truth about how our parents and grandparents worked so hard just for a little piece of the American dream, and some of us just give it away once they are gone. Chef I enjoy printing t-shirts. I ship my shirts all over the country and it's fulfilling…but my passion is cooking and showing others how to cook certain things. Turning 43 on Sunday and it's just time for me to get serious about my cooking.

Awesome road-trip. Whew those are long. I remember our long drives from southern Ca to northern Ca was long like that. Your friend made a lot of great points and lessons to take care of himself and family. Umm. You should have the windshield mishap on video. Hilarious 🀣 Was Dillon working during the trip or you wanted to interview but not be seen having conversation with Mr Delvin. Hope you got rest after your trip. Enjoy your evening Chef Jeffery! πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ‘¨πŸΎβ€πŸ³πŸ’—πŸ‘ŒπŸ½
