I am not vegetarian or vegan at all, but your recipes are so delicious and so easy that you’ve inadvertently been making my family eat plant based😂
And if we do want some meat it’s so easy to add some to the things that you make! Thank you so much 🙏🏼

I never get why Americans always press the heck out of tofu to get it crispy. Some even buy gadgets to press it when you can buy it pressed 😂🤣. It is ridiculous, time and money wasting. Don’t ever buy American made tofu from regular groceries! It’s disgusting. Just go to Asian store and get China style firm tofu. No need pressing, no need cornstarch. The tofu will be crispy and also tastes delicious.

So true. A lot of times when people say that they don't like tofu, you can often trace it back to someone having a very bland style of cooking tofu… Contrast it to the dish MAPO TOFU for example, which is an explosion of flavor.

I eat plain tofu straight out of the package and sometimes with just kimchi but then again I am part Korean and have been eating it my entire life. Today, I am going to make gimbap sandwiches using marinated tofu that tastes like spam. Tofu is awesome!

I followed the recipe when I made this last night, I noticed when I put the cornstarch and salt on the tofu it didn’t stick. The I mixed up the glaze and it just stuck to the sides of the pan. What did I do wrong?

New to tofu cooking here. Tried this recipe today but it didn't turn out quite as good as I had hoped. Because of my lack of expertise I could have used a little more direction such as:
Should the burner be on high, medium high, medium?
About how much oil gets added to the pan?
How long, about, should it take for the tofu to crisp up in the pan? (Is it possible to overcook tofu?)
So glad I found your channel because your food looks delicious. Und meine Mutter war Deutsch. 🙂
