Weight Watchers Recipe for Cannallini Bean & Kale Soup — A delicious and healthy soup. With zero smart point! RECIPE: Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups cannellini …
Ooh it will be work going out into the cold, rainy garden to harvest some Red Russian Kale and make this soup to go along with your cheddar bacon muffins! Hubby smoked some kosher salt so I'll use that for a bit of fat-free bacon taste. Thank you, Jill!
Thanks for this recipe! I used it as inspiration to make a soup like it but I cooked bone in skinless chicken thighs first and made a beautiful broth. And I quick soaked small white navy beans. I added mini fresh San marzano tomatoes and a couple t bs of high quality extra virgin Olive oil drizzled at the end! Fantastic! And a small amount of red pepper flake. My husband said it was my best soup yet! Tytyty!
Kale shouldn;t take 20 minutes, just a few minutes would or should do. Nice video
Loving your recipes! I’m going to make a few of your recipes this week (eat some and freeze the leftovers so we have meals ready to go on busy work days). Thank you 🙏
Jill, must do in the winter months!!! You are so adorable and sweet!!!
Looks delicious! I love your apron. Loved your video too ❤️
Did you use canned beans? Looks delicious
That looks delicious!! I have a request/challenge for you?? Spaghetti squash with pesto in the Instant Pot 😳. I want to try but I'm scared! Keep cookin 🍲
Beans-and-Greens Soup is a Winter staple at my house….any kind of beans and greens (I like to surprise myself!). I can't find dried cannellinis here, but great northerns work, in a pinch, although I use canned beans after rinsing. Sometimes I add tomatoes to my soup, especially if I use black beans. Love your video and recipe!!!
I made Chicken Stock in the Instant Pot, this morning…for a big pot of Tortilla Soup to last the rest of the week
Yumminess ❣ Will give it a try❣
Looks yum!
You've inspired me. Been wanting to make some bean soup. Nothing better during the cold weather than soup. Thank you for the lovely recipe.
PS-I just went to my local H-E-B here in the Houston area; the only dried cannellini beans were $9.99 (Bob's Red Mill). That settled that. I purchased great northern beans for 82 cents for the same size. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks again!
Beautiful Soup Jill.I too love soup this time of the year more than ever.Has you snow left down there for now? Its just grey ,wet and windy tonight Monday.
My body is craving healthy too so this is just what we'll have this week!
This looks and sounds fabulous Jill 😋 Its hot as hell here, but the next cold snap we have I am going to make a short cut rendition of this (I don't have an instapot and am deathly afraid of pressure cookers ) but I love how flavorful it looked!
Love your cooking. Thank you for sharing!
Yum! Another healthy soup recipe. I'll have to try that after my juice cleanse. Thanks, Jill!
I forgot to ask my original question! I am not familiar with these white beans; here in TX it's pintos and red kidneys. I don't have any cannellini beans but I do have navy beans in storage. Would those work as well? Thanks for your advice.
Looks healthy and delicious!
Jill-off topic-I just bought a new side-by-side. Every time I buy a new fridge, I look at the bottom freezer but it just seems too small. That, and I don't want to have to open the freezer every time I want ice (I'm a lover of iced tea). I notice you've given up part of your fridge to have the upper icemaker. Do you have a separate freezer, or do you find that that freezer is adequate? BTW I love my I-Pot for making iced tea by the gallon; I love setting it on saute on high and I don't have to watch a boiling pot on the stove. I buy gallon-sized Lipton bags. The pot is so easy to clean. Do you all have an extra pot for yours? I still will occasionally use my 6-quart insert on my gas stove for some things, having given away the same sized pot from my stash. Best wishes for all your holidays!
