    I’m waiting on a stove because of the supply chain glitch. I’ll try this!! I don’t use sugar and I just use self rising white cornmeal. Just not into sweet bread. I’ll use the foil and maybe less water so less moisture??? Worth a try. It’s better than having no stove

    Love Bytes & Nibbles with their hats, where did you get those hats ? The corn bread receipe sounds good, but may be better in a greased cast iron pan in the oven. Going to make some cornbread right now. I make Vegan with Flour, Corn Meal, Baking Powder, Earth Butter, Sugar, Vanilla, and Oat milk. Thanks Breck.

    You wouldn’t like my cornbread Martha white buttermilk cornbread mix and I use buttermilk. It’s definitely southern. It’s darn good☺️ I also cook in iron skillet.

    I use jiffy corn bread mix, yes your pan was too big, I use a little bundt pan, sometimes little loaf pans, I always use foil, cooking trial and error, c' est la vie
