    I just found out about parasitic worms in fish from a uk sea angler’s video. It seemed that he’d occasionally find them in the meat covering their underside. I then saw them, similarly, in a sushi chef video, but he discarded the belly side of a fillet and used the upper side without comment.
    So, I learned that maybe we ignore them in fish that’s for cooking but rely on a chef’s integrity with sushi.

Let’s say he’s using it the normal way, what is the span. Is it 1990 when there was wayyy less sushi consumption in America, what’s the time span. What are the actual case numbers, what’s the percent chance of encountering the parasite. Idk. Seems like people give stats without context so you can’t even use the stat.

    Lol. Chef of 22 years. If you live in the states the way your sisji grade seafood is imported is enough to kill pretty much all parasites. Legally all seafood coming into food distributors needs to be frozen l, except for tuna. That flash freezing kills most all parasites,
