Hey Kathy… you and your wife, Cheryl, are helping so many people by sharing your journey to better health! And you come to this wonderful phase of your lives having skills and talents that many of us do not have. Thanks for your contribution to the better health process. (and your HUGE hearts are much needed in this crazy world, after all, it's we the people that need peace)

When we go out we try to go Italian and get some sort of pasta with veggies, mushrooms and a meatless marinara. We do eat the bread but no butter. We dunk it in the sauce. Also, we will eat a veggie pizza with no cheese. Usually, when ordering, when we ask for no cheese, we ask if they can pile on the veggies in its place. That usually works well. Just a couple of options.

I’m so glad you decide to do the McDougall program, Kathy. As much as i love eating meat & eggs, i couldn’t last more than 3 days on atkins or keto diet. The McDougall diet suits the Asian in me more. When i looked thru everything i can eat on the website and in the book, i was like “yay, it’s just like going back to my broke college days. Just veggies & rice”. The laziness in me also rejoice coz it means i don’t need to much more than chopping veggies & pouring sauce when they’re done. Please do more of these shopping haul and what i eat in a day. I’m nosy as to what others are eating. Btw i love your ninja creami tutorial. Been making plant based ice cream for my kids. They absolutely love it and didn’t even realize it got no dairy🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Hi Kathy, this was fun! We love Costco too and use some of the products you showed us. My 3 year old grandson loves the cooked ramen with tofu and broccoli. His mom puts TraderJoe’s chili sauce, a touch of TJ’s sesame oil and gluten free soy sauce. He loves it! I also love the frozen stir fry veg blend. I like to keep my meals very simple too. So glad you and Cheryl are doing well on the program. Thanks for this video!

Kathy, you are so wonderful to share this! I am in the process of revamping my eating plan. I am plant based but not always whole food plant based! So I have been leaning back in to WFPB. I am so excited about the Rice Ramen and the mushrooms! Thank you so much for sharing, this was fun! 🙂 p.s. which of your cookbooks have the roasted garlic in it? We love garlic! ❣
