Chef some restaurants don't put a lot of salt or pepper because some folks can't have it. Like me I don't use a lot of salt and pepper. In all it looked pretty good. Glad you enjoyed the corn.

Let me ask you this question: do you think putting the gravy on top of the chicken fried steak causes the crust to come off the steak especially if the gravy is a little thin.

I can't believe I am going on a road trip to Fairfield Texas to eat at Sam's restaurant to try out some chicken fried steak this early in the morning!!!! I remember you said something about reruns. I still enjoy watching repeats!!! That yeast bread sure looked good!! I remember that they were famous for there pies! Buttermilk pie I love.
