😅A good trick when BBQ anything that will flare up is to keep a small spray bottle of water beside the grill and give a spray when flare ups happen , dinner looks delicious .

Becky, pineapples already have sugar. Most Brazillian grills don't put anything on their pineapples because the sweetness comes off them when put on heat. You definitely want to put it on the second shelf, indirect heat (slow and steady is the way to go) is always best. Lastly, close the lid when you walk away from the grill. The wind will pick up therefore causing a fire (girl you make me nervous and anxious). UGH…HAHA!!! I also learned a very amazing lesson when baking cakes; Wilton cake classes from Chicago have shown that you should use parchment paper (extra steps it sucks but it works). I also have come across bottomless bundt cake pans (expensive but worth it). They are hard to find – don't know why? P.S. Here is one but there are better ones out there Nordic Ware Bundt Fancy Springform Pan, 9 Inch, Non-Stick. Please don't rush – you have a beautiful home and family (careful when you are cooking).

Hi Becky, you can steep the pineapple skins and trimmings with ginger in boiling water overnight. Allow it to cool, strain, and sweeten to taste with sugar and lemon juice. Add ice for a refreshing drink on a hot summer day.

It appears that the recipe for the grilled pineapple was done in a grill pan on the stove top because it said to take the excess butter and brown sugar in the bottom of the PAN and baste the pineapple.

Do you really live in that house? It always sounds like an empty shell, not homey at all. At least put a rug on the floor to absorb some of the echoes. They are terrible. Might be good if you read the recipe before you start cooking. This isn't the first time you have done this flub.

I am on leave from work right now due to having a back surgery. Having this time off to heal and finally have some time to do a few things, I’ve been making some of your recipes. I just got done doing 2 batches of your no kneed bread to cook tomorrow for the 1st time. I am so excited to finally try this one. I also borrowed my sisters Dutch oven and I really need to buy one ASAP! Thank you for just being you! I have enjoyed watching you since you started and just have honestly learned so many things from you. Truly thank you. 😊
