You can do it Amanda! Don't sweat the small fluctuations of weight, just be consistent and focus on the long term. How much you weigh is just a number and not a good motivator. Figure out the whys of losing weight. Better health, less wear and tear on knees and back, whatever it means to you. Write those goals down and place them places you can see. Focus on those goals to help get through struggles and temptation. I've been on a low carb lifestyle for about 4 years. I think its great starting the Facebook group, as positive support can also help get you through the tough times. I love all kinds of food and sweets, but they are roadblocks to success, to the weightloss goals. This is the 3rd tour of Gloria's tiny mansion, it's awesome, and thebest part is Gloria herself! I call it a mansion because her sun room, if I remember correctly is 13×20, and my tiny home in thr Grove is 12×20. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Keto is pretty great once you get good at dodging misleading labels at the supermarket.
I STRONGLY recommend trying a "no crust taco quiche" as soon as possible.
    SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!

Iโ€™ve lost 60#. 45 was from balancing my protein, fats and good carbs. Then I got sick, I have Crohnโ€™s been in the hospital 3 times since Jan 24. 2 times they out a NG tube in and no food for 3 days. Gives the gut a rest. Also had to do surgery to move my colostomy as I had a bad infection due to crohnโ€™s and to remove about 4โ€ of my colon. Not fun but removed the crohnโ€™s so can eat more veggies. I like soup so best way for me to eat them.

That cabbage soup is soooooo yummy looking! Also love her tiny home set up.

Btw.. Amanda I suggest a scale that does more than just your weight. Shows muscle fat and water percentages. Because muscle weighs more than fat and is leaner. Because many make the mistake of just following a regular weight scale. Far shows more but weighs less. And water weight is sorry of a catch 22. More water you drink the more impurities you get rid of and constantly flush out other stuff too. But if it's water weight you've been just holding onto … Meds and other things can cause this, that's the downside. ๐Ÿ˜Š Just a little 411 I wanted to share having been a health and fitness coach/ personal trainer. Also… You're doing GREAT!!

Thank you Gloria for sharing your soup recipe with us, Iโ€™ll definitely try this. I noticed you have added and rearranged your home I love what you have done. Adding the curtains to hide your bed is a brilliant idea and it looks so good. As much as you enjoy cooking I was wondering when you would need to buy a stove. Love your home and by the way Gloria you look fantastic!!

Amanda, I am so happy for you all with your new way of eating. I have struggled all of my 58 years. For the past 8 years I have been eating a low glycemic index diet. Honestly this way of eating has saved my life! Is your Facebook page open to the public

Amanda, that is not carnivore and not even keto. Those veggies are full of carbs and will trigger your cravings and make you retain water. Eat only Beef, Bacon, Butter and eggs and maybe some veg. Spices are also inflammatory. If you have type 3 diabetes, you should immediately go carnivore to eliminate the inflammation in your body. Check out Dr. Ken Berryโ€™s video on this. https://youtu.be/4WyhcJBh8kE?si=SnhU2Kt7sFRc6sey

All the best Amanda with your diet. They all require will power and a bit of organization. I am on a post gall bladder low fat diet with no red meat. There is still a lot I can eat as long as my system tolerates it, such as skinless white chicken, turkey, fish and seafood. A healthy way to go. The hardest to give up was caffeine and chocolate, until I discovered carob. Its all good and I feel good. Have lost 12 pounds and another 12 to go. You will feel so much better. I love that sun room! It makes all the difference.

I also been on keto carnivore for the last year, lost over 30# ๐ŸŽ‰ Carnivore is easy for me when I stick to BBBE (beef, butter, bacon and eggs). I will do carnivore for about 90 days then I start adding vegetables. Thank you for sharing this recipe, will make me a pot soon, always looking for suggestions!!

Yep you on the right track, but add in high fiber, all the olive oil and fiber together is the big key you will be so incredibly amazed at what you can add this to, like peanut butter, Hershey dark chocolate powder……Take some powder milk and coconut powder mix with cold water with som olive oil and your favorite stevia type….. Cook you a hamburger with tumeric, fiber, olive oil, slap it on regular bread, take a small helping of freezer store bought seasoned fries with fiber tumeric mix Colt your air fryer shake and bake,,,,,,,I found all of these things by experiments try to figure out some type of hidden secrets I think I got it except the olive oil trick I had to read in-between the lines and try something as close to the ideas as possible, now I lost 40 pounds just on the keto sort of thing and about six months standstill so I tried a fiber idea that I had I got the highest fiber white powder off of Amazon and lost some more, and man when I added in the olive oil with the fiber and tumeric/Hershey dark chocolate powder the hoe thing speeding up from 222 pounds last week now at these moments 214 pounds, this is with out a work out for some one who's is out and doing things problems will loose it quicker…….man I forgot what else I going to say and went black………. good luck with that.

I just made this cabbage soup and itโ€™s nice and filling! I lost a ton of weight on Keto. What helped me in the beginning was meal prepping. I would batch cook on a Sunday and make my meals for the week and it was perfect!

Love Ms. Gloria, the only one I've found who actually responds back quickly to emailed questions, absolutely what a customer service person should beโคโคโค

Glorias not so tiny, is perfect! โคโค

Just wondering Gloria, is your closet in the sun room, those white cabinets?

Also what seasonings did you use in your Cabbage soup?

    Can you give the recipe?
